Dr Mark Holland and his staff are wonderful. I have several dogs as do most other family members and we all go to SW Vet. They have always been very professional and informative, always willing to take the time to discuss your pet's needs. We even had a hamster that was severely injured and her recovery was remarkable. I cannot say enough about SW Vet and everyone who works there.
Tyson has been a patient of Southwest Veterinary Hospital since she was a kitten. In fact Donna has used their services for more than 40 years for many past pets. Tyson is now going on 17 years and acts and looks much much younger. We have found nothing but good service with knowledgeable Vets that truly care for animals. Dr. Love specializes in geriatrics which is a plus for Tyson and any other aging animals.
Dr. Love & Dr. Hannah are amazing! Truly care for your pets, great price for such great care. I have been to almost every vet in Bakersfield & this one by far surpassed the others, I live all the way in rosedale & make the 20 min. drive just to come here. Clean office & friendly staff, not only to the owners, but your pets as well. Loving, kind, friendly, caring, & clean! What more could you want
I change veterinarians it was my first time here they took care of my dog and a very friendly fair price service very knowledgeable and im happy with them
Dr. Holland is one of the best vets!! He shows compassion and love with your animals!! His care and patiences for the pet owners as he talks them thru the passing of their fur baby is out of this world awesome!! The staff is also very loving and compassionate with you. I been taking our dog here for over 6 years now. It's a fairly small facility, but the people are very friendly and helpful. Both Dr. Holland and Dr. Martin have provided Bodie with excellent care when he has had health issues, and the staff is good at reminding me when It's time to have his checkups and vaccinations.
Dr. Holland of Southwest Veterinary Hospital is a gift to the animals and their owners of Bakersfield, California. His care and concern is unmatched. We had to make a heart breaking decision regarding our 9 year old Komondor. Dr. Holland provided us with compassionate and informative information and helped us through every step of this painful and difficult time. I wish he treated humans.....

I absolutely love this establishment. My grandmother has been bringing in her animals for so many years. So I have been honored with knowing some amazing people. My dog clyde was there for two weeks getting well and fixed and they did an amazing job. I have a huge pitbull and with so many judgmental people out there they always make sure he can come in at a proper time where it isn't busy!
