I am appalled that one has to wait 48-72 hours for a call back from billing. This company is very inefficient, and I am sorry I ever signed the contract. Future customers beware, and find another company.
I think there should be an option for a negative star review. We bought our house at the first of 2021 and it took until July 2021 for them to get the billing switched over from the prior owner. And credit goes to them because SJ wouldnt even talk to me as we didnt have an account - everything was still in the former owners name. (how did escrow close?) I would give this company a minus star if possible. We have a leak on our roof, under the solar panel where it is attached to the home. We have contacted the company and were told since it is 5 years past the purchase date they will not honor removing the panels so we can have the roof replaced, The cost to us, we are on a fixed income, senior citizens, will be over 6,000 dollars JUST TO REMOVE THE PANELS, the cost to replace the roof that is leaking due to the solar panels will be over 3,000 dollars. The Company began to handle my lease payment from ***recently and each month is a challenge.. My payment have been set up on auto pay and all worked well for about 12 years, now comes along this Spruce Finance, or Spruce Juniper, or energy source, take you pick and since Feb of 21 they failed to take my payments that continued thru May when I returned from my winter vacation and did my bank statements, I noticed they have not taken payments for Feb., March, April, May, or June. Spruce Solar is the absolute company to deal with. I wish I could cancel this since it's been nothing but a joke. They say they're closed when I call at 9:00am but then the auto-message says the hours start at 7:00am. There's no online options to pay at all. Also, it took months for the account to get transferred over to us and they kept contacting the previous owner for payment. The worst customer service ever! No calls or emails answered, no one ever calls you back, forget getting help with your system. I leased through NRG who sold to Spruce and this company outright sucks!! Look for solar elsewhere and stay far away from spruce!!!
Spruce doesn't deserve a star. NRG had my contract and I had no problems. Spruce power 3, LLC has the worst customer serve that I have ever experienced. Over an hour on hold and still waiting, no answer to emails. I had auto pay set up with NRG and Spruce screwed it up.
This company is the worst company when it comes to billing. They cannot get it right. Since they took over from the previous company my billing has been incorrect. I pay this on time every month but every month when I get my bill it says I have anywhere from 2 month as to 3 months past due. I have sent emails and certified letter with proof of payment with no results. Somehow this problem needs to be resolved. When call you are on holds for hrs and still do not get an representative.
We just purchased a home and solar is not connected to electric meter and we cannot monitor production. I’ve call every T and TH over past month to get issues resolved and to get tech here to investigate, connect, repair. Just sent complaint to Utilities Commission and Federal Trade Commission. They do not respond. Only get an automated canned email which is not helpful. Never get a person who can actually resolve the issue! These people are fraudulent! ZERO stars…not even good enough for 1 STAR.
