I agree with every single comment before me. This company is the absolute worst. Anyone know how to get out of this arrangement? I don't have a contract that I can find. My husband set this account up and he has since passed. Can this system be sold to another company?
Can I give less than zero stars? This is absolute worse company. Constantly on the phone and waiting over an hour to be told they can't help me fix their mistakes!!!!! I get late fees every month even though I have automatic billing. They changed the fees without consent or notification. They do not answer emails. I almost lost my mortgage because they took over 6 weeks to send paperwork verifying our lease through them. They can come get their **** off the roof, this company is complete and utter trash!
This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with! They overcharge, never answer the phone, and all of my emails have not been answered! Horrible. I wish I could get out of this agreement!
HORRIBLE COMPANY - No communication, stay on hold for hours nothing gets resolved. My elec bill is $283/mo! There is only 3 of us in the house. I acquired the solar with the house 4 years ago and STILL do not have anything resolved. Zero stars if I could. Emails are not answers from customer service. Not within 24 hours, not within a week! I am so frustrated. How do I get out of this contract?
I have had the same experience as others on this string of reviews. I had double pmts deducted from my bank account due to Spruce stating I have a past due payment which is not slightly true as my bank account has been faithfully auto-drafted for the last eight years I called a couple of times and promised I would receive a callback, which has not happened. I am going to try and get my bank to stop the auto draft and then maybe I will receive a call. This company does not deserve a rating.
Another zero stars review. Poor to no response concerning billing errors continually made by Spruce and service requests for my residential solar system. The system has not been communicating with Spruce since last June and I have no idea whether the solar system is operating or functioning correctly. Since they have acquired *** there have been nothing but problems. Multiple telephone calls and email communications with incorrect, false information or no responses. I am considering legal action.
worst company ever. Who ever heard of a customer service department having an answering service? Why bother no one ever calls back and your emails and documentation solve nothing. I could go on and on, but I will just reply ditto to all previous emails and comments posted here. I too wish I never got involved with *** and now have to deal with Spruce. Nothing ever gets resolved. I keep getting emails asking for documentation to prove all my payments are up to date and yet my statements still shows an outstanding amount due. ... read more
I sent sprucepower/ kilowatt financial a cashier's check for $50.000.00 to pay off my 38 panels with principal written on the front and a check for final monthly payment back in May of 2021. I have callled and called so many times as they keep sending me bills every month and deducting money out of the $50.000.00 that i sent them to pay off the panels, instead they help themselves to the money each month as they still owned the panels. Agreed Zero Stars. They are the worst company I have ever been forced to deal with!!! They purchased my Solar account from NRG and I have been paying the price since. I wish someone could help me get another company to handle my account. I have repeatedly requested information and answers from SPRUCE but have never been able to reach a live person. My last email of many requesting a live person call me back will be met with me refusing to pay them until I get a call back. I shouldn't be forced to have to deal with this compa... read more
