My husband and I had our prior solar company bought out by Spruce. We paid off our system and they have failed to take off the lean from our home due to the prior lease of the solar!, Now that we are trying to sell our home months have gone by with their inability to do get this resolved! Thank you Jay, the Attorney Generals office will be our next step since our home buyer may give up on us due to Spruce and their inability to take care of this major frustration

I agree with the other reviews - this company is scamming the consumers who have contracts with companies they bought out. They messed up my payments and offer no assistance when contacted. I am going to file complaints with every agency I can. Thanks to those who offered advice in other reviews.

The absolute worst billing and customer service anywhere on Earth! My bill has been right once since December and they keep screwing it up. Took me a total of 37.5 hours on hold since Dec. to talk to someone in Billing. Then I’m on hold with them for two hours just to tell me someone from billing management will call me. That was two weeks ago and no one is calling. If I cancel my payment then they’ll notice. The ELT of the corporation should be ousted. The buck stops with them. See ya!

my solar system stopped working and I have been trying to contact this company to get the issue resolved. they do not respond to email or phone calls. this seems criminal

Awful company to have to use. Can never talk to anyone, emails are not answered. Has been delaying our refinance over two months. would never use or recommend

Significant communication and service issues! Since Sun Edison went bankrupt and sold our contract to Spruce, we have no ability to view our solar production, receive no response to phone/emails, and now have multiple breaches in our contract. We want to remove our panels from the roof to install new shingles - and can't get any support. if you are a Spruce customer, please reach out to your Attorney General's office in your local state. My solar agreement was with NRG. Now it is with this poor excuse for a legitimate business. You cannot reach them about anything. I have tried more times than I care to mention. I have no idea what would happen should I have problems with the actual service. I finally got an email and followed instructions to fax payment information and it isn't even a fax number so it won't go through. This is a total scam and not a legitimate business. How does this happen? Figures that it is supposedly loaded in Texas.

Should be ZERO stars. Absolute worst company I have ever done business with. They bought my Solar PPA in the Summer of 2020 and bills are often wrong. They take incorrect bills amounts via ACH without sending statements first. Then trying to get credited for the extra money they take is a nightmare and takes months. While I was refinancing my house they took 5-6 weeks to answer emails and phone calls from me and my bank.
