This is an absolutely horrible company as far as customer interaction. Yet again I have problems with billing. I cannot enter the online portal. The paper bill arrives too late to return an on-time payment. My paper bill also had conflicting billing amounts indicated. After being on hold for over 30 minutes, my call was answered by an outside call center- not the billing department. I was told someone would call back in 48-72 hours. This is the "better customer response " that has been promised for months????
My lease went up $10 a month in December with no explanation. I have been on hold, literally all day waiting to talk to someone. when someone does contact you, they say they fixed the problem and gave you a credit but there is still too much withdrawn. If I could give them a 0 rating I would. They are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Total corporate thieves!
Reviewed Jun 16, 2021 We have had billing issues since Oct 2020 We have sent bank files proving payments. No response. They just reissue my bill. Cannot talk to anyone. Emails not answered. They say they hired more people but where are they. Lousey customer service. They probably won't read reviews.
Zero stars for this company. I have had inoperable solar panels for two years. They have promised refunds twice and none have been received. As a finance company, they send out a contracted technician who advises them what needs to be done on the system. I have had technicians at my home three times in the past two years and still, my panels are not fixed because this business has not approved any work to be done. I am trying to refinance my house and I just found out that Spruce solar, the company who actually bought my old solar company is charging an outrageous $395 to terminate the UCC file and reinstate it once the house is refinanced. This is just pure theft. The average charge for such a service by any other solar company is between $100 and $150. If I could give it a zero I would. They are unavailable and are sending me late bills even though my payments are being taken out of my account. I have been trying to reach someone about this issue for over a week several emails and calls and no response. Our previous company was amazing and I want out. Is there any way to get a new servicing company or to buy out my system? Please help I have been leasing for 6 years with no issues but this company has been a headache since day one!!
This company should be investigated and closed. They are crooks. They send you inflated bills with no explanation they receive and cash an $85. check and credit you $74. and tell you you have a back balance of $50. What the heck kind of math is this??? They are supposed to regularly come out and check the system I haven't seen anyone in years. My solar bills keep getting higher since NRG was taken out of the picture I went from $9. a month to $130. Something has to be done.
The billing portal has been down...forever. They can't keep track of anything. I prepaid three months so I could not not have to waste the rest of my life on hold trying to pay my bill and I just got a bill telling me I still owe for May plus June. I prepaid through July. No record of that other than the receipt I have. Apparently they don't know they got my money and sent a receipt. Wish I didn’t have to give them one star! Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. I didn’t think any business could be worse than NRG! My system is not working correctly since the buy out. I called to ask them to run diagnostics ; I was on hold for an hour. Finally, when I actually got to speak to a human, they told me to take a picture of my meter and send them my electric bills. I was told it would take them five business days to get back to me. Where do you go from here?
