Suburban's manager called later that day to apologize and they managed to squeeze in an appt for him later in the day which we appreciated. No issues on his care at all, the docs there are all knowledgeable and nice to deal with.

Update: I hadn't brought my cat in for a vet visit for nearly 4 years and the thought of running yet another errand during the limited free time I have when my daughter is at dayschool was overwhelming. But I knew I had to bite the bullet and get my cat checked to make sure she was healthy. Because of Covid you have the option of a curbside visit. I just got a little Maltese puppy and was not about to hand it over to anyone without me in the room. They will allow you to come in with your pet. The staff is friendly and so are all the vets they give excellent care and send helpful reminders.

We love the staff at Suburban. They have been so kind in walking us through getting our first dog. Stella is a 5 y/o rescue who was poorly cared for and has anxiety so it was comforting to see how much the staff at Suburban cares for her. Communication by phone and email has been straight forward and easy.

Used to go there about ten years ago, then changed vets. With new pets, I thought I give them a try again, now I remember why I left. You never quite know what you end up with billing wise... Ask about all charges before agreeing to any service, some of the pricing is left up to the doctor: one time it's comp, the next time a nail trim costs you $30/cat. For a vet bill of a few hundred dollars, it really sets a bad tone if they charge for the trim. Petco will do it for $12 and actually get all the nails. Now that we know... read more
We take our two dogs to Suburban Animal Hospital for their vet visits. Both of our dogs are rescues and can be nervous around new people. The staff at Suburban is always so kind and patient with our pups. From calling to ask questions to in person visits, they are so compassionate and knowledgeable. We always leave feeling reassured and comfortable with our dogs' care.
Just moved from Philly and needed our dog to not only have a Vet that was close by, but she was having some issues with allergies and needed some vaccines. What a great experience we had today! So thankful Suburban Animal Hospital was open, especially with Covid-19. Everyone; from answering phones to getting payment to coming out to pick our dog up, was extremely nice while wearing masks and keeping a safe distance. I feel like giving 2.5 stars, but rounded to 3 because they're generally nice. However, they seem so disorganized and have now messed up my appointment times/filling a prescription on 3 occasions in the 6 months since we transferred our pets here. First time, we were given an anti-itch prescription for my dog's skin infection that I found for less than half the cost online vs. what the vet charges. I am completely impressed by the service that they gave us during our visit! They handle the situation very well. We called them to asked if we could come to them as soon as possible because our cat was in a really bad situation and they told us to come only 10 minutes after that! I am in love with this animal hospital and would recommend it to my friends!
