Suburban has been my dog's vet for nearly four years. Although I never request to see the same person each time, I've had a great experience with everyone who works there. I felt compelled to write this review because I recently took my dog in after she ate a grape lying on the sidewalk. I arrived right at closing time and saw Dr. Casper. She very graciously offered to stay overtime (along with all of the staff) to help get the grape out of my dog's system. I've been so impressed by the consistently expert care provided by the vets and employees of Suburban Animal Hospital! The hospital's waiting area is unusually pleasant and inviting, for both owners and pets. And the costs of treatment are consistently reasonable as well! I've recommended the Hospital to all of my pet-owner friends (who, like me, were pleased and grateful for all aspects of the Hospital's pet care!).

Had another great visit to Suburban Animal Hospital for routine heart worm test. Staff exceptional- really appreciate the care they take with my elderly dog. The tech who provided service for my dog was warm and caring and I appreciate it.

Please bare with me as this review may be long but for very good reason. About 2 weeks ago I realized the back, upper canine molar of my 10 yr old pup was not looking so good. My pup, Charlie, cracked this tooth a while back and it was only recently I noticed it seemed to be a problem. When I checked, it was obvious this tooth needed to come out immediately. I love Suburban! The whole staff is so friendly. You can tell they all really love animals. The front desk is always so helpful when I have questions. They really try their best to accommodate me even on short notice. The technicians I've met have been very good too. I had to bring my dog in as emergency once because he had a reaction to a bee sting and the technician came up to get my dog right away. I have been bringing my animals to Suburban for nearly 2 decades. They have seen us through new fur babies to gentle passing of old fur babies and everything in between. The level of care and knowledge continues to impress. Everyone at every level manages to be kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, responsible, skilled, and helpful. I need to thank my fellow Yelp-ers for pointing me in the right direction when choosing a veterinary practice for the new addition to our family. Based on your reviews, we requested the appointment be with Dr. Boyd and were thrilled with the amount of time she took to listen to our many, many, many questions and her answers to questions we didn't even know we had. I highly recommend Suburban Animal Hospital. The staff is friendly and helpful and I really appreciated their follow up after my kitten had surgery. Dr. Boyd is amazing! During the surgery consultation, she took a lot of time with me and my kitten and gave me a lot of useful advice and guidance on integrating the kitten with my current cat. I also appreciated that I got a call from her after surgery. Family has been going to Suburban since they had dogs starting back in late 1960's and loved it. I've been going since 2000 and all the people and doctors are wonderful and empathetic. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Holly
