We love Dr. Kalinsky. She has the right blend of understanding about both pets and people. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and yet also understands when it's time to let go. We LOVE her!

I have had four dogs taken care of at Surburban over the past 28 years. They have always been professional, friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. The grooming is a plus as well.

We've been using Suburban Animal Hospital for the last 8 years. It's hard to improve on excellence, but Suburban Animal hospital managed to do it. We've been frequent flyers there with our dog lately and have seen many vets, including for emergencies, sick visits and regular care. The customer service from the front desk staff is bar none. I started taking my dog here 2 years ago. I've been nothing, but happy with them since! The vets always take time to explain treatments options. The staff are lovely and you can tell they really want to make your visit go smoothly. You can tell everyone there loves animals and it's not just a job for them. Bottom line: great vets who take the time to diagnose your pet and explain it to you and fantastic staff!

After my puppy got ran over by a car (PSA: if you see an animal in the street, PLEASE stop. Its cruel to run over a puppy), I called this animal hospital to let them know I was dropping by to check out my puppy. Although they suggested another emergency clinic, they accepted us anyway. We were in a distraught state as we came in, and immediately a nurse took my puppy from my hands to get started right away with the doctor. Another nurse then gave me a box of tissues. I have been going to Suburban for over 10 years. I live in Rockville and I still refuse to leave them! Dr. Casper is the kindest and most caring vet that I have ever worked with. She has been on point with both of my dogs and has seen me through some difficult times. I can't say enough about the compassion and professionalism of all who work there. Thanks Suburban!

Switched to Suburban over a year ago and they have EXCEEDED my expectations. I had always gone to Banfield and when I moved to the area in 2013 never saw the same veterinarian after a couple visits. I had considered switching to Suburban, but reviews online said that it was expensive and I was hesitant. My lil guy got sick one day and I went anyways. This vet practice is the absolute best. Very understanding and really good about explaining exactly what is going on if your pet is injured or sick. I wish Dr Schrader in particular treated humans because he is 1000 times better than any medical doctor I've ever dealt with. Clear, compassionate with the animals and treats the human like you have a brain. They also are very fair in what they charge. I really enjoyed the service. After I left, I had to call three times. They were extremely helpful. I think that the prices were reasonable. I took my new cocker spaniel puppy there recently. I had no idea that my daughter had taken her cat there before. She also has had very good experiences there. wonderful people. I really like Dr. Leanne Kalinsky. She goes above and beyond. I will continue our relationship because Dr. Kalinsky is very attentive to detail. But I have decided not to use the boarding services.
