Josh Takacs is awesome. The trainer Jesse is great, I worked with him for two months. He gave me a lot of confidence and really supported me. It's a decent bang for your buck! The gym is clean, too. I would recommend
Good monthy price but if you wanna use the kids sitter at the edge its expensive. $10.- for 2 kids only for an hour. Its crazy.
I have been going to this gym since 2011 and I have been very happy there. The staff have always been great, and I have access to all the equipment I need for a great workout. I love the most recent addition of lateral elliptical machines! Since 2013 I have been using the Kids Care several times a week and this is one of my favourite things about this gym. James Mitchell the manager has been very hospital to me. When ever I reported something that needed fixing or adjusting he was right there. If not then,[because of some delay] eventually it was accomplished. I think that he's doing a great job! However, I do have one suggestion for the "fitness Edge' company as an whole. The MUSIC over the P. A. system isn't good for the gym. A smoothly run operation, very commited to inducing a member to come in an work out. Lots of equipment, and they are there for you. If you want a personal trainer the prices are reasonable; and their trainers are very knowlegable. Being in the medical profession, I was surprized. Of course if you prefer to be left alone to chose your own pace and program then this is a wonderful place for just that.

I recently moved to the Stamford, CT area and needed to find a place to work out. I've moved around quite a bit and have checked out a number of different types of gyms. I've tried the lifting/cardio friendly gyms (like Planet Fitness) the all in one gyms with fitness classes, cardio machines, weight machines, swimming pools, towel service, etc. (like LA Fitness, NY Sports Club and Equinox) and a Crossfit gym as well. In response to JN's review below, the barcode scanned into the Key Ring app on my iPhone. As I would normally have my iPhone with me, this works perfectly.
Good gym, good machines, somewhat knowledgable staff, but as everyone here stated, the billing is retarded. I was paying $30 a month for the past year and what do I get for being a loyal customer? An increase to $35 a month because I continued my membership after my one year anniversary. So in order for the price to go back to $30, I need to sign another 1-year agreement - I've never heard of any gym doing this. Ridiculous.
