They did a great job repairing a door at my home. All appointments were on time and the work was well done. Even got a follow up call from the owner afterwards. I would definitely use them again.
Bought front door in 2003 from company. They sent worker who showed up promptly yesterday and refinished the door so that it looks as good as the day I bought it.
Sometimes you don't get what you pay for. Once I decided to get a new front door for my 1950s house, I knew I wanted to go with a company that specialized in doors - one that had a good reputation, with lots of good reviews. We purchased a locally made Crestview Door a few years ago. It fell apart and was beginning to rot. I wished we'd just gotten the first door we liked at The Front Door Company. Mark, Lance and the team are so professional. I can't recommend them enough. Fair pricing, high quality, great selection of modern and mid-century doors, top notch hardware and a professional installation by Lance in less than 2 hours!
TFC was very professional from start to finish. They worked closely with me to select the right type of door from design to wood, and were great to work with before, during and after the installation. My installation was just before getting my foundation redone (yeah, so fun), so TFC came out afterwards to readjust the door. Start to finish a great experience.
Found the Front Door Company by doing an internet search, and I have to say we really lucked out on the getting the BEST company in Austin to complete the job! Clay was the person who helped us pick out the door, glass panels & hardware as well as keeping in close touch with me on the progress of the schedule. It's rare that a customer service experience is good from the inquiry phone call to installation. VERY rare. Count on one hand rare. I'd gone to a handful of door companies looking for the right door but also the right attitude -- truly understanding what an important decision for the curb appeal of your home this is and what an impact it can make, good or bad -- to no avail. I'm seeing all the positive reviews and I'm finding it hard to reconcile my experience with this company. We paid about $2000 for a new door + installation. We had an issue with the looks of the door from day one and called to see what could be done about it. It's been over a month and we continue to get passed around or ignored. Their standard argument is that wood is a natural product and sometimes doesn't look that great. Lance said that he "should have warned me upfront."
