More Like Zero Stars Absolutely horrible, and there is nothing else to say. They sell their apartments as "Modern Luxury", but they are falling apart with significant rodent problems that are beyond repair. In addition, their apartments (the one I lived in at least, and I have heard the same of others) are positioned in close proximity to homeless shelters or have other problems that deceivingly reduce the value of the apartment. Frustrating, downright awful management company. Better hope all of your issues happen between 9-5 on weekdays, as they are otherwise useless. Laundry, parking etc are all hassles and poorly communicated. Accidentally leave a trashbag in the wrong place, though, and you'll find a nice fine waiting under your door within 12 hours. They run a monopoly on the Allston apartment business and act like it. Look elsewhere.

I couldn't agree more with the "DON'T BE FOOLED" review below... To sum things up nice and short, this "luxury" management company cuts all the corners it possibly can. Apartments look nice and cool in the pictures, but the actual construction of their places are awful. There are always things breaking in the building (elevator, laundry etc) and it takes FOREVER for them to finally come fix them. Then when someone finally comes to fix it, its as if they hired someone off the street to try to get the job done instead of a leg... read more

TERRIBLE. I rented a parking space from The Hamilton Company out of their office in The Atrium at Packards Corner. The woman wrote out the sticker to put on my car in black marker, which I assumed was permanent. My mistake. One month later I walk out to the parking lot on my way to work and my car is GONE. Hello, scary. I thought it was stolen! I tracked it down and found out it was mistakenly towed because the DATE ON MY STICKER HAD WORN OFF. Great. I received a promotion at work late in 2011 that required that I move to Boston from out-of-state on very short notice, and there were only two places I could find in time: an apartment in Chelsea (considering my job is in Newton, this was a terrible fit), and a Hamilton apartment in Brighton. I didn't have the forethought to look them up, and didn't realize how many people disliked them until after I'd signed a lease. This was a concern. Never ever use this company for parking. I paid $75 a month for a parking spot on Gardner Street and my car got towed from the lot on the same day I parked it. I get a call 5 days later from The Hamilton Company saying that my car has been towed from the lot and I need to pick it up. This was also five days later so I now have to pay the towing company $260. The company will not cover the cost for their mistake. If i could give this place zero stars i would! I lived at 230 babcock for 2 years, horrible experience. The heat never worked correctly, washers were always broken, cockroaches, and a homeless man who used to sleep in the front entrance! But the hamilton company on commonwealth ave was the worst problem. Whenever i had to deal with them i had to prepare myself. The staff was ALWAYS rude- especially Kayla. This is one of the most greediest company I have ever came across. My rent is increased 20% in last 1.5 years and they change there policies anytime they wish. Beware of them

I live in 11 Brattle Dr. in Arlington. The rent rises a lot, $70 increase per month every 12-month. Fixed lease length, you have to sign 1-year lease every year. Maintenance is terrible. Last winter, I had to contact the Arlington Board of Health to force them to fix the heating problem. My neighbors living upstairs cannot sleep in their bedroom, because of the loud noise of the heating system in that room. The management is terrible, the new manager on-site is not honest.
