My wife modified our loan with tms last year. She has made all payments on time. She even paid ahead a couple payments. The payments were never applied. Now there George ready to foreclose on our house. Do not I repeat Do not do business with these people they will try to steal your house like their trying to steal mines.
The Money Source has totally messed up my Escrow Analysis resulting in more than 2 months of taxes and insurance in my Escrow. I have also been given an increased payment of over $300 a month but my property taxes were reduced from appx $4000-$5000 in 2020 to $865. I promise you I have called every month from last year in 2020 and The Money Source has promised a new Escrow Analysis every time I called. Well Guess what? Stay Away from this lender if you can, they just bought my mortgage and won't allow me to set up automatic payments. I have never dealt with a lender that doesn't allow automatic payments. Their excuse is that sometime in the next 12 months they think they might sell my mortgage to another bank, what that has to do with anything, I have no idea, when this has happened in the past I am simply notified I now need to pay a different place and I change my auto payments. The money scam is a terrible company.<br /> Example if your payment is made more than what is due it will not be credited, but will be counted as a non payment.<br /> I do not recomend this company unless you want your credit score to drop.
TMS has severely mishandled our escrow account. They removed the tax portion from our escrow without our knowledge, which created a large debt once our tax bill was received. TMS is now insisting that we pay the debt that they created. Paying this debt will create a financial hardship for our family. This is bad business practice. Home owners beware.
Impossible to get ahold of anyone. Email inquiries simply receive automatic directions to call. Chat is unable to answer questions other than FAQ, there are no customer reps there. Calling doesn't work either, well maybe it does if you have more than 40 minutes to be on hold but so far my attempts have gone unanswered. New customer and rapidly regretting it, wish I'd taken these reviews more to heart.
My loan was sold to this group and it has been one headache after the other. I have had several mortgages through my years and have actually considered refinancing again. The out of pocket expense would be well worth it.
Far from helping grow happiness, I was approved and compiled with all the terms for a modification, it's SEVEN months later and the paperwork is continually misplaced or needs to be re-run by attorneys and sent to me again. Payments for modification are unapplied on the statement, EVERY time I call its something different such as.. we didn't receive your documents in time, your approval was denied because the paperwork wasn't turned in, we don't show all your payments being made, plus so many, many more. I was one phone call away from a lawsuit with TMS. Kristi Schleicher saved me a headache, and TMS a lot of time, money, and public embarrassment. <br /><br /> The issue- I paid off my mortgage online instead of wire transfer.
