what a nightmare. They sold off my mortgage and then reported a late payment to the credit bureau. But I was on automatic debit account and I was not late since the payments came out of my bank account automatically. I called customer service and the said give them 10 days to investigate but they refused to give me written confirmation. Stay away from this company I’m going to report them if they don’t fix their mistake
I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint on this joke of a company. TMS sold off my loan to a new loan servicer and has proceeded to hold my last payment in "suspense" for 35 days and counting. This has resulted in my November 2020 loan payment not being funded and declared late. The customer service has been an absolute joke, with no follow-up, and no empathy whatsoever for the stress they have caused with their screw-up.
Due to getting laid off I had to go on the Forbearance plan and TMS made this process easy to do. Now that I have a job again TMS realizes I can not get all caught back up in such a short period of time and they are extending my plan to allow me time to get caught back up with no late charges or negative information reported to the credit agencies.
They dont understand how to follow a contract. Our agreement is ESCROW to ONLY pay flood insurance as required while I'm responsible to pay Taxes and Hazard insurance by myself. A week before my flood insurance is DUE I get a call from my agent letting me know they havent received payment yet and advise that I should so it doesnt default which I do (October 2020). I saw the bad reviews but the site looked easy enough... I refi'd through Better and TMS was the initial servicer, I signed up for my first payment, then they sold my loan - annoying but whatever, they clearly stated that the payment would be cancelled in the email. I went to MrCooper and setup the new loan and made the first payment there. Except they lied, they didn't cancel the payment and I had 2 payments debited - TMS has been 0 help, would never recommend and wont work with them or better again. ever.
This is the worst company to deal with . They didn't honor my loan and are trying to make me lose my home which I worked very hard for They are nothing but liars and are unethical people that don't care about their clients

Absolute human dung. This company is such a group of lying, crooked, unethical unprofessional horrible people. I can't begin to explain the horrific treatment I received. They won't return calls, they constantly lie and trip up the sale with ridiculous requests. I can't go in to the long pathetic story of their handling of my mortgage but trust me its unbelievable what I went through and still have no idea what's going on. Please do not use these crooks
Let me start like this. The WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE i had! I would PAY MORE to get rid of them for sure!! Watch OUT for your CREDIT SCORE!!! Wow!
