The Money Source wrongly and perhaps illegally collected my June payment, from my bank account, using Auto Pay and, of which, TMS has not and apparently intends not to return to me. This amount was to have been waived, or credited to me, together with August's payment. When I began inquiring with TMS the 1st young man told me, in early June, that it will be returned to me via U.S. mail. I initially had a VA home loan through guaranteed rate and was at the end of a forbearance. My loan was purchased by the money source. They have been treating us like our loan is delinquent. I told them about the forbearance and asked that the payments be placed at the end of the loan. They asked some questions and then said we don't qualify. I don't understand it. This is by far the absolutely worst company (not just mortgage) I have ever worked with. Continuous issues with my fixed mortgage increasing year over year (not tax or insurance related) and several different stories from customercareoligist's as to why this is happening. Major training issues and a total lack of customer care. Management is nonexistent and an ongoing 3 year issue unresolved. Countless hours and money wasted with no resolution.
Absolutely horrible service!!!! TMS did not allocate my escrow funds properly and paid the wrong insurance policy twice, deducted other charges from my account and was not able to explain what happened. After mismanaging my escrow funds they then sent me a document about an escrow deficit. Their Customer service reps are not well trained to research and resolve escrow accounting issues and they do not have any information about escalating these issues to a different department. Had nothing but trouble with TMS. They sold the mortgage but didn't wire our first payment over. Customer service was dismissive and kept telling me to wait and didn't really answer my questions. E-mail support just auto-replied to call customer service. We contacted Kristi Schleicher, whose email we found here, and she resolved the problem. I had swapped my homeowners insurance and notified them since Feb, but nothing was updated. I called today to hopefully resolve the matter, but multiple dropped phone calls (no callbacks) later, and seemingly like it's a matter that I have to resolve by myself, issue still not resolved and insurance disbursement is in progress to the wrong insurance company. TMS purchased our mortgage and they errored on transferring the correct loan balance and payment start date. TMS Customer Service has admitted this issue is TMS' fault but the issue is still unresolved after 3 months. Awful Company to work with.......
The Money Source has erroneously calculated an Escrow shortage, saying my property taxes increased, and so raised my mortgage by hundreds of dollars a month. My taxing authority has written to the Money Source confirming that not only did my taxes NOT increase, they decreased. Despite numerous calls and writings to the Money Source, they have yet to rectify the situation. They don't "grow happiness " at all.
Every person in "customer service" with TMS is clueless. One named Claudia hung up on me 5/14/21. TMS is THE WORST company ever and I would never wish their bumbling incompetence on anyone!
