This company is TERRIBLE. Our loan was sold to TMS. They started sending us late notices before they ever acquired our loan threatening to report us to a credit agency. We were informed by our previous lender that our loan was being transferred on April 1 and our payments were current. We contacted TMS requesting our account number and payment coupons so that we could start making payments to them. We were told they were "working on it". The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Our loan was sold to TMS, I would never choose them on my own. We were behind on our morgage and called in to pay it up to date and they took out $2500 on top of the $3700 we had already paid. This is during a pandemic where we are out of work. We have called 4 times. The woman that did this unauthorized transaction even called me to apologize for her mistake. My Mortgage was just sold to TMS and I already have horrible experience with them. I needed a document to send to my Insurance to update the new mortgage and I was on hold for 2 HOURS, When my call was answer they said they can't provide me with that document because they do not have it? so that wasn't resolved. Terrible Customer Service! Their website is offensive and they are definately NOT a happy place as they say. Payments not posted properly and long wait times when you call them. They need to get rid of the terrible music while on hold!

I've been with TMS less than a month and it's already been horrible. They're charging me for homeowners insurance (even though I have already prepaid for the year) and I can't get anyone on the phone to fix it. I get there are extended wait times right now, but I've been on hold over an hour and transferred twice (back and forth because the first person transferred me for now reason) with no end in sight.

Don’t waste your time if you’re a soldier. If you PCS and can not get your house to sell/rent out then you’ll more than likely end up NOT having the means to pay your loan due to bills and a low amount in a paycheck. They will sue you for everything you have. Don’t waste your time! Save yourself the headache now and find another company! The one star is because I have to, but I would give them -5 stars if I could. Hope this company drowns in their own failure.

Horrible!! First their auto pay didn’t apply our first payment to our mortgage (just sat in a holding account). Then our loan was transferred and they continued to withdraw from our bank account. Took several weeks for them to respond and send a refund check for overpayment. Now I get a letter stating our account is delinquent and they reported it to the credit agencies, dropping my score 100 points. How can it be delinquent if our account is no longer with you?!! I bought my house in August 2019 and was originally in a flood zone x money source bought my mortgage and now I’m in a flood zone AE according to them sent my paperwork from fema showing the x and money source is still making me get flood insurance so I did 1600 and My insurance company sent over proof of payment and declaration of insurance and money source went and pulled flood insurance on me causing my escrow to go negative!! I refinanced my home with The Money Source in January of 2019. They erroneously paid my November 2019 property tax payment. It was very challenging for them to fix and very stressful for me; it took 2 months and a lot of phone calls from me. I got in touch with Kristi Schleicher at TMS, and she helped me so much. She personally followed up with me, and was a voice of calm and understanding. It was an ordeal, but it got resolved thanks to her diligence and professionalism. Thank you Kristi!
