If you looked up nervous, neurotic dog mom, it would have my picture. When I moved to the area I was very sad about having to leave our previous vet and decided to give Thrive a try after hearing good things and talking to lovely people on the phone. My two morkie pups just turned 8 weeks today. They were due for their 2nd round of shots and initially I was planning on going to Emancipet to get them checked out. I should've double checked their hours of operation because, when I got there- Emancipet was closed. I remembered seeing Thrive online and since I was only a mile away, I called to see if they were willing to take us in without appointment. Dr was great - all I needed was rabies shot for older dog and look at a growth under his belly. He said what he thought which was what I had been reading but didn't know how to confirm myself. His no nonsense conservative approach made sense and was able to give me exact cost of if we wanted to take growth off and Ect he certainly knew his stuff and I greatly appreciated it and it way exceeded my expectations because the whole thing cost $20 where I know that my current vet would cost around $100. This place is just an absolute jewel. Brought my two dogs in for an exam and possible treatment for fleas, ticks, and worms (we lived on a farm, don't judge me:-). The testing was ridiculously inexpensive, and the staff were professional, courteous, and just all around great. The dogs were given a clean bill of health, and I was able to purchase reasonably priced preventative meds for my dogs from them. Just an all around great experience. I will continue to use this Thrive location for all of my small animal vet needs.

I realized my cat had an infection in his mouth last night, I wanted to get him the right care but with a baby almost here I didn't want to pay arm, leg, and first born for veterinary dental work. I know it is EXPENSIVE. I called around and Thrive offers a 10$ exam, awesome! And they gave an estimate on dental work over the phone which was nice so I knew if it would be in my budget. Charlay our pup hates the vet. He screams, cries and wont corporate. They took such good care of him fixed his hurt toe and gave him shots. It was very clean and friendly. It's the first vet office Charlay has relaxed and behaved. Highly recommend!

I took my sick kitten here yesterday and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed! I called in the morning because I was concerned about my kitten not feeling well (she was using the bathroom a lot but only a small amount of urine was coming out, and her mood was off). They were able to fit me in the same day, which was a big relief. The facility is very clean, and the staff are extremely friendly. Dr. Smallwood was able to see me right away.
