I am new to the area and have always had anxiety about taking my dogs to the vet as I never know how they will react to the new smells or the other animals in the waiting room. This was my first visit to the vet. This place was clean and the staff was very nice! I felt at ease knowing I could check in and check out without worrying my dogs would spend time in the waiting room barking at another dog. Highly recommended for vaccinations and annual exams. I took my dog here because she needed a bordatella vaccine. Other vets were asking $60 plus. She got the vaccine and a basic exam for $29 at Thrive. The price and friendly service are what makes this business worth 5 stars. Because they are so popular, it took about two weeks to find a suitable appointment time. They are a bit tricky to reach by phone, so book online.

They were AMAZING with Squishy. I've never had a vet visit go so smoothly. Their prices are completely reasonable. The vet (Dr. Modak) answered all my questions, never seemed rushed and gave me practical suggestions and options. The tech (I believe her name was Marcela) went the extra mile x 1000 to make sure Squishy and I were both comfortable. So thrilled to have found them.

My dog was 14 yr old and we could tell something was up. He wouldn't eat, his stomach was expanding more than usual, and he wasn't acting himself. I scheduled the closest appointment I could and hoped for the best. Took my dog in, and everyone there was very professional and nice. Great vet care for a very affordable rate. I docked a star because of how hard it is to get an appointment! Sometimes a wait of two weeks... not good when my dog needs more urgent attention. They need more locations!

Seriously could not be happier with our experience. Everyone there from the first time I called until we were waved goodbye was awesome. Professional, sweet, friendly and knowledgeable. We saw Dr. Sameer Modak. He explained everything in detail and had answers for all of my questions. Super nice and took his time. And they are affordable!! Very blessed to have them in our community.

This place is great!! I have been bringing my 3 cats to this vet since I moved to the area and I absolutely love it here. The staff is kind and the place is extremely clean. Prices are so affordable. I have had nothing but great experiences here.

I really really like Thrive - Dr. Smallwood is so awesome and genuinely cares about our furry kiddos! I would've given them a 5 star review, and I really wanted to, but the receptionist ruined that for them. She was on the phone when we walked in, and of course I didn't expect for her to drop eveything and accomodate us, but it would've been nice to be acknowledged. She didn't even look up. These people were better than my boutique and very expensive vet in Central Austin, and the facilities are WAY better. Totally worth a drive to Round Rock to save $400 and feel like my pet was cared for well.
