They advertise a $15 "head to tail" exam. However, any animal who comes into the office without proof of their Rabies vaccine is forced to immediately get the vaccine right then and there or they will not examine your animal. This brings the price point up to about what you would spend if you took your animal to a "real" (ie: not discount) vet. If I had known that, I would have taken my cat to my normal clinic. We do require all healthy pets to have an up-to-date rabies vaccination and this is standard procedure for most veterinarians (We have to protect our doctors and staff!). We took our elder cat Gracie for a check up and to be diagnosed. We knew something was wrong but not sure what it was. They were very kind and gentle with her. Extremely compassionate when they let us know she had multiple health issues including cancer. Being 18 years old and so weak already, we decided to take the night to spend time with her and have her put to sleep the next day. The vets at Thrive showed compassion, skill, and knowledge. When I told them I could not afford my dog's surgery to save her life, they immediately pulled out their personal phones and started makeing calls to every vet E.C. they knew. They worked for at least 2 hours to find a solution that was able to help me help my girl. I can never be more grateful. Great vets, but more importantly great people. Thank you all so much.
