I signed up for their Pet Plan, and cancelled after a series of bad experiences. I was told that there was no cancelation charge, and the charges to my account would be deducted from the amount I paid. I was charged for the entire year of the Paw Plan, plus $28.87 cancellation fee. I had requested a list of the charges to my account for each service. The list is less than half what they charged me. They're charging me over $600 for 2 vaccine visits, and common labs. The cost of the vaccines doesn't match the quote they... read more

Natalia, we take our client feedback very seriously and thank you for your input. We are reviewing your experience internally and our practice manager will be reaching out to you to address your concerns offline.
This Vet's priority is making money off you - not what's best for your pet. DO NOT RISK YOUR PET'S LIFE HERE. I was new to the area and took my dog here despite all of the bad reviews because they were open on Saturday and my dog needed to be seen immediately. After an exam the Vet convinced me that her problems could be cured by changing medications: she was on 3 medications at the time and they wanted to change some of those and add her to 3 more. In addition, they wanted to do more tests and blood work to confirm thei... read more
We have been using this veterinary hospital for years and at this point in time this veterinary hospital deserves a zero rating or anything even below that. They are price gougers of the worst degree, offend clients without a second thought and accuse paying clients of things and issues completely invented by their staff. They have ZERO customer service. If wanting to speak with a vet regarding the condition of an animal in their care, it can takes hours upon hours or even days for a vet to contact the owner/rescue to relay ... read more
Oh god, where do I start? Maybe even a 2.5 rating... I've taken my cats to this animal hospital for years, for everything that's minor to major. To sum it up, I would call this hospital hit and miss. Miss: One of my cats could not urinate, so we took him to the Tualatin Emergency Vet and had him checked out. It kept reoccurring, so we ended up having to keep him at TEV overnight. However, because of their operation hours, we had to shuttle him to our regular vet (Tigard Animal) during the day. Before we officially starte... read more
Been taking my dog there since his been 1. His now 4. They arent very good at diagnosis beside getting neutered or spayed i wouldn't take him there again. He has bad hot spots on his feet and iv been going there for 1 year after almost 1000$ in vet bills his worse than ever im done with them and their incompetence after some google searchs i see he has a fungle infection. Don't put your pets health in jeopardy because of them!

Nilu, we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns, but are unable to identify you as a client given the information in your review and the account it is posted under. Would there be another name your pet's files may be under? Please give us a call at your earliest convenience, as we truly would like to apologize for any negative experiences.
1 star is too much; we are extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend this location or any facility associated with them. We took our pets to TAH for years; their staff was always on top of their game and offered reasonable rates. Since being taken over by a corporation, they have lost the spirit of being a local vet office, and are more concerned with cornering you into their "Paw Plan" and exorbitant fee structure. We were initially approached about the "plan" while in a waiting room, stressed out with our 14 y/o dog ... read more

Hi Diane, we are sorry for the loss of your beloved pet. We know what a difficult time this is for you and apologize you do not feel like you were offered compassion and care from our team. Our PAW Plans are preventive care packages though and they do offer bundles of preventive services at a significant discount. When you enrolled in the plan, it was explained that this was an annual commitment. We would be happy to review your contract with you in more detail if this is something you are interested in. Once again, we are s... read more
Pet treatment is okay. However they constantly try to sell you things when all you want is a sick pet treated. Often adding unnecessary and expensive services you did not ask for or need. Along with 1-2 hour hour wait times past appointment makes this a very horrid experience all around.
Business response:
Hi Dave, thanks for sharing this feedback. Our number one intention when treating your pet is to try and communicate the different options for care, but we apologize if this has come off as trying to sell services. We take these comments seriously and will work hard to ensure our delivery is more clear! In regards to your wait time, we are truly sorry for the inconvenience. We know your time is valuable and do our best to see each appointment on time. We will continue to work towards keeping scheduling as efficient as possib... read more
We only go here for Dr.Rita for our cat. She's an amazing vet and knows her stuff. The front office staff is like a bunch of monkeys humping a door knob to be honest they are embarrassing to see and work with. They never have any idea what they're doing and are so unorganized.
Business response:
Hi Mikayla. Thank you for your kind words regarding Dr. Rita. We apologize you have not found the rest of the staff to be as helpful, but we must kindly ask that you keep your feedback constructive and appropriate. If you wish to discuss anything further, please do not hesitate to give us a call and ask to speak to the hospital manager.
The Tigard Animal Hospital is now owned by some mega corporation owned by China and is no longer locally owned. Their customers, our four legged friends and others, are no longer put first. The service and care is not good and is very over priced. Most of the staff must have just graduated high school. Do not recommend at all.
Business response:
Hi Chris, thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are sad to hear you feel the service has declined, as our number one focus is to always provide exceptional veterinary care and excellent customer service. Our entire team is, and has always been, dedicated to a high standard of care, so we will work hard to make sure we are consistently providing this to our clients. If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to give our manager a call at your earliest convenience.
