Probably OK from a Different Supplier Squeaks. Badly.
Defective Toner Cartridge After recently replacing the toner cartridge and running copies we started having black ink blotches left on our forms. Checking further, found a large deposit of ink powder on the outside corner of the cartridge. What a mess! Because I had purchased 2 when ordered in January 2017, I am now past any return options and am left with an expensive, defective ink cartridge. Very disappointed and will have to reconsider where I purchase from the next time.
Leaking. Fuser destroyed. For the past five years, I have been buying the expensive genuine Brother toner cassettes to prolong the life of my printer and save hassles. However, from the last four cassettes, two were defective, and leaking toner. The mess they created stuck to the fuser and destroyed it. The $8.50 "non-genuine" toner does not leak. Amazon accepted the returns of the two leaking cassettes, but now I need to buy a new printer, because the cost of the fuser is significant compared to that of a new printer.
One Star The unit I received was not a "Brother" brand. It was an off brand compatible
Faulty Cartridge I ordered this when my current toner cartridge began reporting low yet kept functioning. It finally quit two weeks ago and I installed this cartridge and it produces awful prints. Very inconsistent, first few pages are acceptable then a grainy page that is barely illegible. Or one page is fine then the next page has a ghost image of the previous page. Helping a Brother Out! Have only good things to say about my brother. He wakes quickly, prints quickly, and with this toner, prints economically and forever. Toner doesn't get old, the color doesn't expire, it doesn't have jets that clog. It just prints sheet after sheet, quickly and without fuss. If you have a Brother printer that this will fit, don't waste your money on a regular size toner. Go Big or Go Home.

I think Amazon and Brother should make good on this expensive proprietary product This toner has ruined weeks of printed work pages. I missed the 'return window' by 3 days by the time I figured this was the problem. I think Amazon and Brother should make good on this expensive proprietary product.....4-5 times the cost of the other brands and did not work! What say you AMAZON?
