Had 5 roofers fix my leak called u guys and oscar stopped the leak pulled off siding went above n beyond hasnt leaked in 3 years
I've had 9 windows from this company installed and 5 of the 9 were installed poorly, they are not square and it is plain to the naked eye. They made a mess of the caulking around the window that is visible. I don't make much money and I can barely afford these windows at 900 a piece and they look like crap with the messy installation. I filled out a free contest to win free services and of course they call 2 min later wanting to give you a quote. They refuse to come out inless my husband and I are both there. As i explained many times i never know when my husband will be home from work as he works crazy hours and a lot. And he said well let us know when he can be there we can schedule anything without him. Are you crazy you just lost our business. They refused to visit our home to provide a quote unless both of us were present, even though we made it very clear only one of us would be present, because that was the way we wanted it. This approach is insulting and a poor business practice. I guess they don't care what the customer wants. One star is too much for a company with such a sales philosophy.
Recommended** updated review after complaint** Let's talk about the mass destruction that happened to my house and property. My salesman was nice, the quality of siding is great. Aside from that, you couldn't pay me to hire this company again. How about removal of an awning and tossing it on top of hundreds of dollars of plants recently planted in my backyard. We have been unsatisfied since Oct 2016 and still trying to get our siding replaced due to the siding "warping". Tired of hearing one excuse after another! UW has contacted us and insist they will take care of the problem and almost a year later we are still waiting. We have one side of a summer home that needs to be replaced and if UW is so concerned about 100% satisfaction this would have been taken care of WITHOUT an additional cost to us. Overall I like the double hung windows. We had 13 installed 2 years ago, and are happy with those. This year ( 2017) we had 2 small double hung and 3 casement windows installed. One of the double hung windows didn't lock, and wont close. This is in the process of being replaced. We are not happy with the look of the casement windows. These windows took away 3" of glass all around the frame, the framework around the window is very wide, and doesn't look good compared to our previous windows.
We had a older sales rep Ray Maldrew which was a lower pressure salesman. About half way through the two hour long sales pitch I started to think this might be ok. Well the green house on this front page is ours.... it's no longer the ugly house. The window and siding crews did a great job and made sure everything was done right. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company...
We called for an estimate after we saw the work this company did on our neighbors house. Nick H gave us several quotes and options, however this was the first company to come out and my husband and I always get three quotes before making a decision on large purchases. We advised Nick that we had appts with two other companies the same week.
