Actually there is no star or catagory for the type of pressure you put on people esp. When a husband has appointments and wife is able to talk and understand and provide a lot of input in decisions and with decision makings of the household. Wives are Responsible people too. They can collect information and give all details to the other spouse. They came to my home and quoted me $4400 then they dropped the price to $3520 after I said no it went down again to $3270. I told them, I wanted their best price upfront, not to play these games. Well these clowns were trying to figure out how much they could get out of me. What a bunch of used car salesmen jokers.
All in all, I'd say above average. We had two doors installed, doors are great. The install team(2 guys) were alright, showed up a little later than the scheduled time and It took them about 6 hrs to remove the two old doors and install the new ones. The had to come back the next day to finish because of some miscalculations on-site with their measurements. The pre-install guy who came out to do the initial measurements was a very cool guy. I do like my windows - but it would be hard not to given what they replaced. I am not too happy about being screwed out of the promised energy tax credit match. Yeah, it's a drop in the bucket compared to the overall cost of the job - but it's a month's payment. Would have been nice to know it wasn't a BS lie from the sales guy. Oh well, live and learn. Can't wait for neighbors to ask about the windows, sure to tell them what I think of Universal.
