Uptown Hounds was founded in late 2006 by Steve Robinson, a Lexington, Kentucky native. He envisioned a true resort for our beloved canines where all expectations would be surpassed and spent 18 months developing the concept and constructing the Lexington resort. Centered on family and hospitality, the Uptown Hounds resort is an all-inclusive home away from home, including vibrant activity for dog-loving families.

Our little Wynne looked adorable when picking her up! This was our first time at Uptown Hounds. It’s a huge place with a pool, grooming, doggie hotel and indoor/outdoor play area. We saw several coming in for daycare. Everyone was friendly. I know our girl would make friends there.
Took my doodle here to be groomed (his first professional groom ever) and I will not go anywhere else now. Bruce is so handsome thanks to the groomers at Uptown Hounds!

I had a family emergency and Uptown Hounds was able to accommodate my pet. They texted me throughout his visit. I would recommend to my friends and family.
It was Bodie’s first time being boarded for a couple nights and he had an accessment done while he was there to see if he would be a candidate for doggie daycare. From my understanding he passed with flying colors! We are both very pleased. Bodie will soon be attending doggie daycare. We were both happy when we walked in! Thanks for taking such good care of my best friend!
