We had a great first visit for Penny. She was able to get dropped off and taken care of right away. She got her own area to rest . The staff said she did really great. We told family about our first visit and they want to go to Wag Hotel. I'm very excited for her to try the play area today.

I am updating my review for Wag hotel. The previous one was a bad review due to a first time bad experience. However, Carlos, the manager, contacted me and was apologetic about it and wanted me to give it another try for my puppy. The second time around was great! The service was great and my puppy seemed more comfortable and happy in the ultra deluxe room. I'm glad I gave them another chance. I will definitely take my puppy back there again! I took my dog Buddy to Wag for boarding while I went on my first trip away from him last weekend. I was anxious as to how he (and myself) would handle this experience, but to my surprise, my usually anxious pup couldn't have appeared more confident and self-assured when I picked him up! I called a couple times during my time away as well and was met with a very detailed status report on what Buddy was up to and how he was doing during his stay. We have been looking for a groomer that actually cares about our pet. Rita has been wonderful with our dog "Charlie" . We know when we drop him off , he is in great care. Our dog is super happy to see her when he is getting dropped off . I would 1000% recommend her to groom your pet. Furthermore , it's the excitement that she provides to my pet. She is a amazing , and goes above and beyond.

Haven't actually boarded my dogs here yet they are coming tomorrow, but 5 stars for their staff on the phone and Jill at the front desk in the mission valley location. I walked in at 5:15 on probably the busiest day of the year Sunday after thanksgiving asking for a first time client tour of the facility. Need I mind you tours stop at 6, they are crazy busy. Rita is awesome. She is the groomer at WAG hotel in Mission Valley. She has been grooming my dog for 3 years and I will not bring him to anyone else. I recommend Rita and the WAG hotel to everyone.

MODIFIED REVIEW: INCREASED TO FOUR STARS: The new manager called me the day after I wrote my first review concerning the 90 day expiration period on the 20-day package. She apologized, reinstated my lost day, assured me that would be mentioned in the website, and also agreed to speak to Corporate about eliminating or extending the 30 day expiration period. It was very good to know the management is responsive. I hope that they can refine or expand how they manage drop off and pick up so that existing customers are not kept... read more

**UPDATE** I REALLY LOVE THIS PLACE BUT SOMETHING IS OFF (3.5 stars) My dog has 4 different daycares, each serving a different purpose. Wag Hotels is still the main. In my opinion, they offer a lot of good stuff that other places don't. You can read all the good stuff because when its good - its good. But not all places are perfect and this place isn't.
