I'm a little disappointed with this business. We were at Bark and Brews and visited their tent there. The lady at the booth was really friendly. we have a senior dog with mobility issues. He was with us. We explained his issues and our concerns, she stated that they would be able to handle our needs and invited us to visit the facility. We visited the next day. Tour went well until we started explaining his needs to the tour guide. She said everything was doable except she didn't know if they could support one thing and that... read more

I've used Wag pet hotels before in Northern California and they were great! So I was glad to see they have a location here in San Diego. I usually like to keep my little guy more in a home care situation, but when you can't do that or have to have your pet in an extended stay so you can have a nice long extended vacation, look no further for the perfect place for your beloved pet to stay! INCREDIBLE LOCATION TO BRING YOUR DOGS whether it is for all day play (day care) or boarding (overnight stay)! I brought my 1 year old dog here ever since I've adopted him and he seems to have a great time every time he visits! He experiences separation anxiety and general anxiety however it is always great to see he socializes with other dogs and the staff! Here is my experience with wag hotels over the years. I have been taking my dogs to this facility since it was called Pooch in 2013. I trust this facility in the care they give to my animals for various reasons. I enjoy taking my dogs here when I am at work all day because it will allow them to have mental stimulation in an air-conditioned building versus some outdoor kennels, which get a little hot for my comfort during the summer. Where dogs play and stay! Wag Hotel San Diego is accessible off the 805 and 8 freeways in Mission Valley (east) to the rear of a large parking lot shared with Rubio's Grill (In-N-Out Burger adjacent-just saying). Open 24/7/365 there's always a place for your pup to play and sleep with currently five locations in Northern California, and four in southern. I have been using Wag hotels in Mission Valley for all day play (dog daycare) for about two years. We've had nothing but great experiences here! All of the managers and employees are so nice. They know my dog by name, and my dog gets excited to see them. They have a new app which has great functionality, and send photos of your dog during the day. My dog has been staying at Wag Hotel off-and-on since late 2017, first at the Redwood City location, then at the San Francisco location, and now at the San Diego location. He has been frequenting the San Diego location since August 2020. The San Diego location earns a 5-star review because I know my dog has a great time there and is well-cared-for.
