I can't say enough good about the professional, kind care "our cat" recently received at West Hills Animal Hospital. A feral cat accidentally got into some diesel fuel at our shop, covering her legs and belly. They got her in immediately, put her under, bathed and shaved her, gave us medication and clear instructions on how to care for her, scheduled a follow up appointment, even called the next day to check to see how she is doing. We now have an office kitty and have quickly become attached.

Dr Girard and Dr Lawson are my heroes! Your team is credited for asking us the right questions when we called about Sally. Your front desk urged us to get her in immediately when she suspected she might have a deadly condition called bloat... And when we got her there you acted immediately. Thank you for saving her life. You cleared your schedule to perform emergency surgery and because of you she us alive today. I'm so grateful to have my healthy dog back and I still just can't believe that I could have lost her. The team at West Hills Animal Hospital truly shined yesterday. Our dog was not feeling well so we called to make an appointment. Instead of giving us a time and hanging up they asked several questions. We were immediately advised to bring our dog in as she may have a life threatening condition. We brought her in and after a thorough examination they confirmed that she had a medical emergency. Within minutes we reviewed our options and had her admitted for surgery. Drs. This was my first visit and I was impressed from the moment I walked through the door. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I love Dr Hengst. She was so soft and loving to my dog. She could tell that my dog was nervous , she just sat down and talked to her. She examined her while our dog sat next to us. Dr. Hengst is so compassionate and kind. I would recommend West Hills Animal Hospital to everyone

One of my 3 dogs had been sneezing and coughing and I had to bring her in 2 days before Thanksgiving. She seemed very ill and I didn't want to have to do emergency someplace. Fairly new to the West Hills neighborhood (from Chatsworth), I remembered that a neighbor told me she takes her dogs here. Exceptional customer experience, clean well-thought out seating areas and compassionate staff. I did a lot of research and relied on Yelp reviews before I chose this particular vet. I was very satisfied and gained a lot of comfort in the doctor's expertise and the staff. We've had two of our dogs receive top notch care from the team at this facility. I can't say enough about Dr. Girards. Her expertise saved our current dog's life, when our pet decided to eat nearly an entire bottle of another dog's medication and became desperately ill. Dr. Girards compassion and skill were SO appreciated as we walked through having to make important decisions that day. The West Hills Animal deserves the highest rating as a well-run animal hospital! The staff is outstanding, efficient, and emotionally supportive. I called the hospital right before closing yesterday. I told JP my concerns about my dog Sammy. He immediately consulted with Dr. Lawson and the told me how to handle Sammy until they could see him the next day. The two visits we had here were not at all pleasant, but the staff and Dr. Lawson all were kind, compassionate, and understanding; they made an unbearable experience a little bit easier. A few days after we had to say goodbye to our old-man cat, I received a lovely card from them. Of course it made me cry something fierce, but, the gesture was very nice. Now that some time has passed and we've been able to welcome two little kittens into our home, we'll continue to go to WHAH and Dr. Lawson.
