Truly the best veterinary care I've received - Dr Hengst is absolutely wonderful, thorough and understanding. We had a scary car accident that caused one of my dogs to begin coughing up blood, and they we so compassionate and careful in examining him throughout his healing. The office staff is so friendly and empathetic, and go above and beyond to help schedule appts and answer questions. It was our good boy's time to go and West Hills Animal Hospital squeezed us in the same day and after a quality of life exam gave him the dignified sendoff that he deserved. A sad day but they took great care of us and of him.

I am inexplicably grateful that I have found West Hills Animal Hospital. This review is a long time coming! We moved to the area two years ago (we were just a single dog family at the time) and we needed a new vet. I was referred to WHAH to see Dr. Lawson. The team here provided excellent service to my fur baby and our family over the years. I felt I had to share my experience with this business because they were extremely kind and caring this last year when my pup started visiting more often due to old age and other more serious conditions. I can't give enough thanks to Dr. Gerards, Michelle the technician, Liz (receptionist) & entire team for taking such care of my ginger fur baby Penny. Not only did you fit me in when Penny was sick, but also kept me updated of her progress at every step of the way and advised me how to best care for her post hospitalization. Yesterday Penny got sick again and within 30 minutes Michelle the technician called me with medication and instructions. Best animal hospital in the valley. Dr Lawson has been so kind and caring with both of my fur babies. We weren't patients when I originally called but she was willing to see my dog because she actually cares. We are bringing all 5 of our animals to this hospital now. The staff has been fantastic and willing to help with everything.

I have been to many vets on the westside and several in the valley. This one is my favorite. All three doctors are great (I see them interchangeably) and the staff are extremely friendly and caring. I feel like my dog's comfort is a major priority here and I feel completely confident they will take care of him well, whatever he's in for. It feels like home.
