Our 3 dogs were patients at the VCA on saticoy and Woodlake. They closed their office and merged with the one on fallbrook and did not notify any of there patients owners. The only way we found out was by driving there in a state of emergency. Our 13 year old beagle was attacked by a coyote. We needed him to be seen immediately. So we decided to come to WHAH!! The staff there is amazing. My puppy is a monster and they were so great with him. They are patient and gentle and all very professional. Unlike other veterinary hospitals, this place doesn't try to scam you using your love for your pet... they are so honest and amazing.

The caring and great service here made a very difficult day go much more easily. Dr. Malott was wonderfully warm and compassionate. Her kind words and actions made all the difference. Truly the best veterinary care I've received - Dr Hengst is absolutely wonderful, thorough and understanding. We had a scary car accident that caused one of my dogs to begin coughing up blood, and they we so compassionate and careful in examining him throughout his healing. The office staff is so friendly and empathetic, and go above and beyond to help schedule appts and answer questions. I am inexplicably grateful that I have found West Hills Animal Hospital. This review is a long time coming! We moved to the area two years ago (we were just a single dog family at the time) and we needed a new vet. I was referred to WHAH to see Dr. Lawson. The team here provided excellent service to my fur baby and our family over the years. I felt I had to share my experience with this business because they were extremely kind and caring this last year when my pup started visiting more often due to old age and other more serious conditions. I can't give enough thanks to Dr. Gerards, Michelle the technician, Liz (receptionist) & entire team for taking such care of my ginger fur baby Penny. Not only did you fit me in when Penny was sick, but also kept me updated of her progress at every step of the way and advised me how to best care for her post hospitalization. Yesterday Penny got sick again and within 30 minutes Michelle the technician called me with medication and instructions.
