I've had two dogs that I've taken here over the last 13 years and I had to write this because people really need to know the good places from the bad. The best thing about this place is the way it is managed and I realize I've always taken it for granted until I had to use another hospital for a surgery or emergency visit. I can't even put into words how incredible this place is. Everyone there genuinely cares about the animals they see. They don't try to upsell you like most vets do. They are so kind and compassionate and they know what they're doing and they're great at it. If I could give 100 stars I would. Would definitely recommend anyone to go here for their animals vet needs!! Thank you all so much for everything!

Just like most vet centers- too expensive. Understandable that these services are pricey, but $700+ for a single cat spay service is not going to attract any new clients or encourage folks to spay/neuter their pets. We live in the neighborhood and they have always been too expensive for us- then again with wealthier folks in this community, it's clear they stay in business just fine.

When we moved to the neighborhood many years ago, someone said West Hills Animal Hospital wasn't very good. So we continued to use our vet of 30+ years in Simi Valley, even though their prices were really high. But last year we had an emergency when one of our dogs was in a fight, and gravely injured. West Hills Animal Hospital is only a few blocks from our home so my wife took our dog here. They took our dog right in to surgery and patched her up. There okay but in my opinion expensive. Nice people but they try and upsell you for treatments not needed. My wife has been coming here since we adopted our kitten. After one year the office staff indicated that our now cat had a growth and that it might be cancer. Scaring my wife, she came home with and estimate of approximately $500 to $3000 depending on what was found. Me and my husband love this place. We love the staff! We love Dr. Tyler! My Harvey loves coming to his vet visits, and as of January our new member Remy. I know for a fact my babies are in the best hands. All my experience have been amazing, they always answer my questions and concerns, are very commutative, and work with our schedule. This review was long over due I definitely recommend this place.

I took my 2 kitties (Biscuit & Leo) here today for wellness check and vaccines. The front desk desk and technician and vet all was very lovely people. Very friendly and nice experience. Also while making appointments, the lady who manages calls is very helpful and nice, she answers all my questions very patiently and informative every time! Making appointments is very easy and convenient too.

Dr Hengst is a good doctor. I like the paw plan they offer. Nurses are nice on the phone and in person.... A tad expensive, but I guess it's all for the furry babies.
