I've been renting from Wolfe & Associates for 4 1/2 years and during that time I have mainly great interactions! I've paid rent late twice during that time, one time they waived the fee, the other time they did charge me a fee, which I didn't find fair because I paid online and checked in with them when the payment didn't post and they said not to worry because it was a new system and there were delays. I rented from these guys in 2011-2013 for two years. I rented a property Isla Vista. i mean, the property was probably the kind of thing you'd expect to get for the price I was paying, and overall I wasn't unhappy per se. Maintenance was fast, I don't remember any problems with applying/singing or renewing my lease. Downgraded my review after 4.5 years of renting from Wolfe. The company has no loyalty to good renters which is quite sad. They treat everyone the same - as if they are all mediocre. I paid rent 12 hours late due to an extreme family emergency and was charged $75. However, I would say that my property manager Kathy deserves FIVE stars because she is amazing and makes everything and all requests so easy. Corina who deals with maintenance is also extremely nice.

Just moved into the apartment in isla vista. A little concerned about the deposit thing after reading the negative reviews... however, I am pleased with their service so far and most owe it to the manager Devin we contact with, a warm guy do us so much favor to settle down and deal with some small problems in the apartment.
The front office staff is super nice and very helpful. The lady who helped me find my apartment was great. My property manager is really cool and has been easy to work with. The only problem I have encountered was with a late fee that was wrong and trying to make them fix it. It has since been resolved. I just wish it was resolved quicker and with less effort.

Ahh the wolfe, gets 3 stars becuase of quick maintenance service and pro rates for inconveniences suffered. Consider your security deposit a down payment you'll probably get around 20 percent back. Other than that they are not bad for an IV Slum Lord.
Just got my security deposit check and I only lost $580 from the $1,875 total. This was completely expected because I painted the walls and didn't paint them back. I also damaged a screen and got paint on a few light switches. Overall, excellent renting experience!
Really surprised by the negative reviews. My experience with Wolf has been nothing but great. - Respond within 24 hours to all of my emails or phone calls. - A prompt response to all maintenance needs (I would say the average time from me calling with an issue to them sending someone out is 20 hours). - Very friendly and professional leasing agents, property managers, crew, etc.
