It would run for 5-10 minutes and i would have to go give it a push to get it going. Had the flow rate set correctly but it consistently was stuck. If you have to baby sit the pool vacuum it kind of defeats the whole purpose of having one. We had just recently remolded the pool so there were a few very small pebbles from the pebble tech and these small grains of sand would get stuck between the motor and frame. I returned the cleaner to the Pool store and got a Hayward V-Flex and its running like a charm.

when it worked it did good job. I consistently had to adjust the dedicated vac line pressure to make it work. pretty much had to turn off all other drain lines for it to start working and then shortly after it would stop because one of the relief valves on machine would open. had to return too difficult to maintain working

Finally. I thought there was no such cleaner that would (a) clean the walls without causing the pump to lose prime, (b) operate with the range of flow from solar heat call to slow recirculate, (c) not continually get stuck, (d) clean plant debris without clogging, and (e) not make up for low purchase price with high refurb cost. Save time and buy this one first.

The vacuum worked extremely well the only problem with it was air constantly getting into my pump from it. I tried checking each hose length, making sure they were locked in. I had to dial down the lever to the cleaner due to the fact that when this vacuum came up the wall, it would come out of the water just enough to suck more air into the pump.
