The product does not perform well at all my old pool vacuum cost much less and did a much better job. On top of that the rebate is not a true rebate where a check is sent to you to deposit by a mastercard which had an expiration date and you cannot use the rebate to replenish the account which you planned on with the rebate money a scam in my book.

Spent hours trying to get it to work. Could never get the suction needed for it to propel in our pool; even on the highest setting. Returned it to the store. It was very highly recommended, very disappointed.

We were told by several pool owners that they have had good luck with their Zodiac pool cleaner. Since there was a $125 rebate and a $75 store credit with Pinch a Penny, we decided to give the Elite 8 a try. We are new pool owners and have a larger than normal pool (21x44). Will not budge on low speed pump. Requires A LOT of suction. Had to close all other valves and skimmers and still had to increase speed on pump. But, my pool has never looked cleaner. Picks up fine dust, silt, and dead algae that the Polaris just stirs up. You will have to back wash more often but I’m sure you already knew that. None of the attachments fit the hole in my skimmer. I had to modify to make a tight fit.

UGH! HATE IT! Frustrating to use bought MX8 Elite because all the good reviews. Issues: 1. Parts come apart easily that should not, like part "F" in manual, it has no name just part "F", it has components and NO INSTRUCTIONS how to put back together and there are strong springs on the part! So far it doesn’t work. It definitely doesn’t crawl up the walls like I was told. I’m currently not impressed. I’m having the pool company out to look at it to see if we installed it incorrectly, so we will see how I feel after I pay someone to look at it.
