Hi, My experience hasn’t been good. I was affected by hurricane Ida which caused damage to my apartment. As a result, my apartment was unlivable. So, I opted out of my lease. I have been looking for a place to live ever since I returned home from evacuation September 9th. I know that 1st lake have a lot of nice properties. Diana I the office is terrible. She is very rude and scolds you like a child every time she speaks to you. They give you no notice when they need to get in your apartment and will go in even when you are there and asleep, even when you have told them they can't. They bang on your door like they are the police even after you tell them that they other occupant is asleep because he works the overnight shift. They even tried to come in with the chain on the door. They don't look after the complex either. There is always bags of ... read more

I have wrote 3 or 4 different emails asking for someone to come change the air filter in my apt so far no one has made an effort to come help me because I can not reach it its on the ceiling in the dining area, the maintenance man told me to just ask so far i have asked by email numerous times. I am always early paying my rent this is really ridiculous!

On Oct 2 my rent was automatically drafted , then on Oct 4 Camelot Court Property informs me i need to make a decision in 24 hours to move in 5 days. so they can make sheet rock repairs. On Oct 6 I went to office to inform her i will stay during the construction because i cant move a 3 bedrooms in 5 days and cant find a place to stay in 5 days. To Whom It May Concern, I have been a tenant at the Frenchman's Creek Apartments since February 2020 and since then I've noticed a slew of items missing from my apartment. Everything from hats to strange things like food items in the fridge. We have had some of the worst experiences possible with the overly combative elderly lady in the office. She's rude and verbally abusive. Without even checking her emails she says she's never seen it. Upon checking the emails it's right in front of her. She acts like a toddler who has just received discipline. Very unprofessional. It's no wonder we see so many residents just give up and leave. Plumbing issues, leaky windows, roach infestations in the halls. Avoid at all costs.

The manager at arbor gates, picayune is horribly rude and won’t work with anyone. I’ve dealt with her before at another property and she shouldn’t be dealing with people. My daughter had some things come up and can’t move in to her apartment mid October. Yet y’all are still going to withdraw her deposit and just keep it. I’ll make sure no one I talk to EVER considers this place as an option for renting.

I can't get a hold of anyone in the office at my complex or at 1st Lake. Nobody ever answers the phone. Every time I go to the office at my complex the door is locked? What if there is an emergency? This place is unbelievably unprofessional. The lady who works at my complex in the office is nice and friendly, but I can't get a hold of her! I'm sure she's up to her neck in issues because 1st Lake doesn't hire enough staff to keep up with maintenance. Do better.
