I’ve lived at lakes of chateau for about 6 months now to say my experience has been bad is an understatement. My apartment is beautiful as well as the property . My issue is management and maintenance. I put in multiple work order for multiple things and nothing ever gets fixed until days sometimes weeks later . My wife and I have just moved into your company's property Windmill creek unit N243 in Nov 1st 2020. Since moving in we have realize how there is a strong cigarette smell that is in our apartment. We thought we will air out the apartment thinking that this smell is from the previous tenants. I am now complaining because I was given the key to transfer out of the damaged apartment on Tuesday 11/3/20 after having to leave work to get them because they couldn't do anything the weekend prior because of internet issues. this was almost a week after the damage occurred 10/28/20. I work two jobs on Tuesday and Wednesday, so there was no possible way for me to move the entire apartment in a few hours at night. your service for damaged property is horrible. I understand the conditions after the storm are hard to get contractors but to do nothing and let the building continue to deteriorate is ridiculous. I have daily photos showing the progression of mold growth and continued sheet rock cracking and falling because the insulation is still wet under neath. I’ve never in my life experienced such a horrible place to live. However, I’ve been rushing to move back here because I’m like this is a nice, quiet/comfortable environment for my son. Negative! Yes, it’s quiet, No, it’s not nice because I feel like it was false advertising to begin with. And, no it’s not comfortable because I haven’t been comfortable in my spot since I’ve moved here in May. I am giving feedback to bring awareness to the issues and the mismanagement of this apartment complex. Towne Bridge Apartments is a disgrace to 1st Lake Properties. If this is the way apartment complexes are managed and resident's needs are met, then this is truly despicable. First off, let me start by saying that the apartments need renovations. We have had a couple of problems living in our apartment but the big problem now is our ceiling is leaking water all in our kitchen and all of my kitchen supplies have been soaked with water. Someone came out to fix the ceiling and put new dry wall up and the same problem has happened again less than a week later. My experience is that 1st Lake cannot retain employees. Every issue must be directed to each and every employee, which literally changes everyday. I’ve never seen such incompetence from the top tier (surely they know what’s going on) and such a poorly run company. Guess the customer or renter means nothing, just because you can get away with it. Sad
Don't rent from ANY 1st lake property. The absolute worst experience in all my 49 years. This company will not return your deposit and they auto renewed my lease and sent me a bill for $14,000!!!!!!!!!! In the middle of a Pandemic when people are NOT paying rent. I left the premises and took photos gave my keys to them in May and long before the lease were to be up and they changed my lease from 7 months to 13 with auto renew and have kept my 950 security deposit and are tacking on another $14k.
