Our system prior to 8x8 was sub par to say the least. This systems allows me to stay in contact will all my employees, customers, and contacts around the clock. I am no longer a slave to my office and my calendars. Thank you 8x8 life is GOOD!!
Pro - Better Ui than older version - No more app (in browser directly) Cons: - Don't like the 5 tab limitation - Duplicates Logs very often (2 logs for same call) - often call not registering under proper lead/contact - Looks up converted leads, therefore every contact has a duplicate...
Between the system showing error messages if we open more than one tab, to the customer care timeline when our Salesforce go down. I would suggest a better relationship with our IT department.
The app needs work. It doesnt always pull up the correct contact. It would be great if it worked on more than 5 windows.
I am a 70 year old lady. What I like about 8x8 when I call 408 816 1695 to speak to my account manager Brent, he solved my problem with no complication and kindness.I like that. Merci Brent
8x8 was absolutely terrible. The system is buggy, doesn't do the basics of taking calls, and their customer service is a disaster. After months and dozens of hours of working with them I couldn't get the system to work. Customer service is rude and unhelpful. I would strongly recommend not using 8x8 for any uses.

8X8 are thieves. Businesses beware! I paid my monthly bill religiously via credit card. They PORTED my business phone number away from me with out approval; stating that they emailed me about it. Strange.....if I am paying my bill monthly, why would I want my phone number ported away. They stated by LAW, if they don't hear from a client when sending them an email, they can port it away. We love getting our faxes via email. Our office is a small firm in Seattle and we're generally "technology forward." We have a young president who pushes us to find efficiencies in our communications through technology. He is constantly unplugging the fax machine, because.... who uses them anymore?? The ability to manage our system online, from anywhere, has allowed us to increase productivity. If employees leave, we can quickly forward their line and change their password. When new employees start, we have their phones set up in an instant. If an employee forgets their password, it's reset with the push of a button. It doesn't matter where our operations managers are, we can manage the system.
