It took 4 attempts to communicate with 8x8 to get this request initiated and a month in total time. This should have been able to be resolved in one five minute phone call.

Customer service is terrible and sometimes there's no pick up when you call. System is unreliable and our company experiences technical trouble monthly.

I entered my case in almost a month ago. My 2nd extension desk phone was not working after only being used for 2 months. It took me 3 weeks to get a hold of someone in customer service and numerous hang ups from your automated line. Then it took 45 min on my first call with a customer rep to declare that my phone was defective. After waiting another week for someone to call me to tell me that my phone was out of stock(no one called , I had to continuously call till I got a hold of an operator) could buy it on Amazon. Service is pretty good, especially for small business. However, don't expect support to know what they are doing and to answer a single question takes over 30 minutes and then they say they will call back. I was only looking for the location of the PIN for a port out. Also, you can't talk to support even though they say it on every page that you can. Customer service will NOT contact you. We have not have service in a year because we cannot get someone to help us. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!

The absolute worst!! Incompetent tech support that lies to the customer rather than admitting they don't know a resolution. Ridiculously long hold times to speak with tech support and return phone calls that never happen. You'd be better off with 2 soup cans and a string!!

Great softphone app for business but absolutely horrible experience porting over phone numbers. It's almost 4 days now since the port and our SMS messaging still doesn't work properly. Opened tickets, they never call on time or if they do they call once and leave a voicemail and never call back. Trying to call their support line? Good luck. On hold for over 50 minutes and had to hang up the call because you know... business. Live chat support? Chat now button doesn't even work now and can't open live chat for support.... read more

You guys came recommended from a tech associate, but my experience so far has been horrible. I'm not with a large company so I understand not being high on the priority list. To date I've attempted to create an account on your website, but the account creation failed ("We can’t log you in because of an authentication error."). I reached out to tech support yesterday and was told there was a 30+ minute wait to talk to a human, that there is no way to get a callback, and that it may be best to try this morning around 6am PS... read more

It has been a headache dealing with 8x8 at every step of the process. Recently had account disconnected for non-payment after a credit card expired. The thing is, I had updated the card in the online billing system. Now I am going in circles trying to resolve the account, need to get ahold of someone from billing on the phone and can't seem to reach a real person however I try.
