I personally love the 8X8 feature, it allows me to listen to the caller without having the receiver in my ear/hand so I can continue to process files. I also feel more connected to the caller when I hear their voice coming straight out of my computer, and the fact that the email we get shows the callers phone number is a added bonus. This allows us to return the call fast because we don't have to lookup or wait for their phone number.
8x8 services has been saving us so much time, money, and stress. In the last 6 months. our company has expanded to include out of state offices, as well as new employees who telecommute from other parts of the world. Everything digital. And Analog. I can use both the digital interface on my mac and on my physical phone. I can use a headset on my mac or my physical phone. I can check visual voicemail on my computer or my desk phone. My other favorite option with 8x8 is that i can delete all my voicemails at once and I have copies of every voicemail sent to my email. The 8&8 Global Extension offering with unlimited calling in over 40 international destinations like the UK, Germany etc. is unique for IP providers. The overall cost structure is very competitive and the customer service is excellent. The company does not give you any reason to look for another IP provider.
When we 1st setup our 8x8 phones our Church did not have our own building. Which ment our Pastors and our secretary worked from home. You would not know it when calling in calls where easily transfered across town. Not what this old iT guy was use to. Once we found a permanent location the phones never skipped a beat. I love the fact that I can text and answer calls away from the office on my office phone. I downloaded the app and when I have a good Wi-Fi signal I can communicate away from my desk.
