I love the 8x8 iPhone app and I love answering calls through the app when I am on the road! Anytime a co-worker expects just to leave me a voicemail because I am OOO & I tell them about the app & thats its a must download! The in app chat/text is my favorites too!
It provides the staff flexibility so that we can work, when we want, where we want, and provide consistent service and continuity to our customer. Excellent product.
We love getting our faxes via email. Our office is a small firm in Seattle and we're generally "technology forward." We have a young president who pushes us to find efficiencies in our communications through technology. He is constantly unplugging the fax machine, because.... who uses them anymore?? I work for a non-profit in Northern CA. We work to end homelessness in the community. As a Housing Specialist I spend many hours a week in the field, And sometimes I work from home. I love the 8x8 feature of being able to check desk Voice mail from my cell phone via email. Using 8x8 for our soft phone VOIP service has been an absolute pleasure. There isn't the noticeable lag that usually occurs in some VOIP services, and the call quality is the best I have experienced so far. The user interface is intuitive and easy to use. The only Honestly, this is one of the BEST things that has happened in our church! Our staff members are at ease knowing that we can be reached in multiple ways. It truly helps us do our jobs better! We've dealt with old answering machines and bad fax lines. 8x8 allows us to not be tied down to our offices afraid we're going to miss a call. Our church loves the service and so do we! The best feature I have found using 8X8 is the texting feature. Today everyone has a cell phone and most everyone texts, so this a great way to communicate. I was able to use it recently speaking with a prospect trying to get some crucial information needed to close a sell in 2 days. It was my biggest account yet and I had to have this information in order to have proposals to sell. I was able to close the account. I am thankful that I no longer have to give our my cell phone number to clients.
It allows me to keep better track of my customers, which I love! I can tell when they call in, their faxes are stored for me so I don't have to go searching all over the place for them, and its efficient. It gets me through my day.
