Highly disappointing - Look elsewhere for something better I bought the Brother ADS-1250W in hopes of digitalizing my small office. I was first impressed by the speed in which it ran through papers but soon very disappointed that it took minutes to upload the file onto my computer. The machine would often time out before it had uploaded the entire file which was often less that 4 sheets of single sided documents. My internet is very much sufficient for the task. Check for driver I couldn’t get a driver for my Mac
Disappointing, wish I had bought something else I've been disappointed with every aspect of using this scanner. Unfortunately, I was slow to get it out of the box and so missed the window to return it. It has connectivity problems that we can't figure out. The quality of scanned PDFs is poor. It jams frequently. Every time I need to scan something, I ultimately resort to the Scanner Pro app on my iPhone, which is much more user-friendly and results in better quality scans. Very Disappointed We are a small nonprofit. We bought this scanner on a strong recommendation from a consultant. It never worked consistently. We paid to have our IT consultant try to get it to work and hoped it would. Consequently we missed the return deadline. We now find that we can't even get support to try to replace it or fix it! So it was a complete waste of money and we will have to discard it.

This thing is a piece of S$@T!!!!! This thing is a piece of s$@t. After I got the cord situation solved after 1 hour on the phone with a rude customer service rep, it can’t even handle scanning more than 1 page at a time. Many of the pages are blank or says that not enough info was collected. I’m not happy with this product and will be purchasing something else.
Doesn't work real well unless it's only one to two sheets of paper It works okay it's really fast but it doesn't like over three or four pages at a time and it has trouble keeping the pages straight. I would not purchase it again. There are other scanners that are less expensive which I have purchased since then and they work much better but are slower
Scan Quality Received this scanner but not very happy with the SCANS. They are not as clear as I expected and tend to come out crooked and looking like a cheap scan attempt.
Does not work in high resolution mode If you're trying to scan 1200x1200 dpi you will be lucky to get 4 pages out before the software errors out saying there is not enough memory on the machine. In fact my machine shows 4gb of unused memory during scan operations when this error appears. Brother support is no help - their solution is reduce the number of sheet during each scan or reduce the resolution. At 2 sheets per scan it seems to work aright and would take a day and half to scan a couple of hundred pages...
