I was charged $695.95 for 1.75 hours. The move was LESS than 10 miles, from a single story home into a single story home. Items moved: 1 couch (broke into 2 pieces) 1 recliner 1 full bed + box spring 1 - 5 drawer cabinet MINUS the drawers $695.95!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I signed the final paperwork, the movers said I'd receive a refund because they were booked for until noon and it was only 11:15. FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION! Do not use this company. I hired this company to move me into my new house in November. As a first time homeown and user of a moving company, I had little knowledge of what to research other than reviews. If you look on google they somehow have great reviews. I ended my research at that. My mistake cost me $2000 bill plus a broken $3000 laptop, and scratched and torn furniture. Sorry, out of the three movers I had to use in a complicated house change in Charlotte, this company was very disappointing. They were hours late -- with no warning -- they arrived with fewer workers than promised, and the men who came didn't seem to know what they were doing. They refused to take so many of my things that I ended up having to hire someone separately to finish the job. Worst of the worst experience . Avoid All My Sons moving at all costs. Explained that I live out of town and am staying in a hotel and the last minute cancellation would cost me $300/day. They offered me a $50 discount. See the text message sent. Hey xxxxxx , this is Alfred w/ All My Sons. I see that you booked a move with us for Friday on 10/01/24. Never use this company. They cancelled on me the day before the service. When I asked why they prioritized other clients over me, I was told to never call their office again and was hung up on. I then called Gentle Giant movers and they booked me last minute to save me from not having power or water.

Had the most horrible moving experience with this company this weekend. If the 3 movers that they sent, only 1 did acting at all. The other two didn't so anything unless I was in the actual room with them and even then it was at a snaill pace. Like they intentionally tried to draw my nice out to take longer that it needed to to jack up my price. I move every year, so I know how long it takes. It's a 5 his job, 3 to load and 2 to unload. This year, with All My Sons, they charged me 11 hours!!!!! And held my items hostage in ... read more

Horrible customer service too. I moved on August 24. They ruined my furniture and cost way over the estimate.. and didn't move everything they were hired to move. Now I'm playing phone tag because no one ever answers, email or phone calls. Just avoid this company. Unprofessional from beginning to end.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! They over charge & add hidden charges that you are not aware of but then tell you that it was all in a email. I move a lot as I have college age children so I was very diligent about asking for every charge before I booked with them. I only used them for labor as I rented a UHAUL truck. When it came time to unload they added an additional charge for travel. This charge was almost $300. Their quote is different than what they end up charging you. Our movers showed up late, when they finished packing, they waited around in the parking lot for 45 minutes before they left (all the while charging us for sitting in the parking lot) I left at the same time they did to leave to the next place. They took an hour to get there after I arrived myself.
