We haven't really moved so I'm really glad that this first experience with All My Sons was pretty good! We were looking for a moving company that had availability to move within Charlotte and was surprised that most places were booked, but we found out about All My Sons online. I was very clear (to estimator and moving crew) about the large items I wanted to have moved. These were beds, furniture, desks etc. The movers filled the truck with boxes not intended for that house, and left most of the specified items behind. So now I'm stuck moving boxes to a storage unit, and furniture to my new home. My response from the company was a $100 discount. The owner "Mike" agreed that directions were not followed, but did not offer a respectable resolution.
I would strongly recommend against using this company. During my move on February 22, 2026, the movers damaged my solid wood West Elm dining table (original purchase price approximately $1,299), leaving a deep gouge in the tabletop. They also damaged a door in my rental property, resulting in a $150 charge from my landlord. I was also disappointed by the packing quality. DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS MOVING. They sent 2 guys to my apartment that probably weighed 120 lbs each. They were absolutely horrible. I am a 60 year old man, 2 weeks out of knee surgery and I had to tell these morons how to get a couch down the stairs. I was carrying furniture down my stairs so I didn't have to pay a fortune because there workers moved like snails. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS MOVING
the worst company ! do not hire them ! had the worst expirience! they give an hourly price but they send 2 movers that will take 6 to 8 hrs to move a 1 bedroom apt !!! thats how they milk the time ! shame on all my sons !
All My Sons Moving is hands down one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. We booked a local move in Charlotte from a condo to our first home and gave them a detailed list of about 30 large items two days in advance. We even asked about adding a third mover to make things smoother, and their consulting team assured us it wasn't necessary--completely wrong. On moving day, everything went downhill. Horrible experience, please don't use them!! They scratched up my floors in my brand new house, put dents in the walls, and didn't even complete the job. It took them an unbelievable amount of time to complete a move 800 feet down the same road with 2 bedrooms worth of furniture and living room/dining room furniture. The manager was horrible and barely offered a refund. We couldn't even fix our floors for this price. The movers were unprofessional and so was the manager.
Worst movers ever! We remodeled and hired them to move master bedroom, dining room, great room and kitchen areas into storage and back after remodeling was complete. The dining room, great room and master bedroom areas included some antiques, including my grandparents bedroom set. The guys who came to pack everything up were personable enough.
