I have video of all the damage as well as before pics. This was a nightmare to say the least. I am submitting a claim, but they do not mention being compensated for time wasted by their employees. The first hour one guy stood around with a tablet stating that he was waiting for info from the office and it's taking longer than normal. I have never given a review before but will here so that no one else is duped. We used All My Sons from Plano this past weekend. The movers sent to us were amazing and the dispatcher did a good job with a horrible situation. We were given an estimate, told we would have 2 trucks but only had one and were told that boxes were not part of the estimate so they couldn't move them and we would have to start another ticket so they could come the next day and move the boxes. Worst moving experience. I've ever experienced. The Van driver ran into my personal truck when they first arrived. I should have sent them back then. Was ready to go, it took them 12 hours to move me. 1.1 miles, all my furniture was hurt. Either torn ripped gouged scratched. Some of it does not work. I have 2 dressers with broken legs. I would not Be reimbursed but a slim amount. Because I did not take out the extra insurance. They were supposed to be a professional moving company. It was one of the worst experiences I've had. I moved from 950 sq ft to 1000 sq feet. I moved computers and monitors, all decorative plants, all hanging clothes, dog beds and dog related, lamps, bathroom item, clocks, pictures & all cleaning products (and my guns of course) plus a few other misc items myself. I asked when they arrived how long it would take (in and out of the first apt) and was told about 2 hours. TEN hours later we are leaving that loacation. The movers didn't build the TV box we paid an addl $60 for, just placed the tv in the truck with blankets (we did notice until they were unpacking at the new house). They also installed the mirror on the dresser upside down. Instead of asking one of us for assistance when the holes didnt line up they drilled through the wood in random spots. We were discussing the TV and broken plastic bins when this was happening. We received $150 for the damage, (the dresser and mirror were $1500 to replace). Absolute horrible experience. They were NOT prepared when they got to our house. They completely scratched my husbands gun safe because they didn't bring the correct dolly to lift a safe that large. Jason ensured me on the video call that they would be able to move it no problem. They scratched up one of my kids cabinets and our washer. The washer ended up needing to be fixed because some parts came lose during the moved, which costed us more money. Broke our Peloton and offered $250 to repair it. We have both a Peloton bike and treadmill. They had trouble getting the treadmill out of the door so they TOOK THE ARMS AND SCREEN OFF to move it. When they left, we tried to turn it on and it's not working. We also noticed missing parts on the treadmill. We filed a claim because we paid $350 for their "AMS Protection Plan" insurance plan that states that they will repair, replace, or pay the depreciated value of an item they broke. What a joke. They were very inefficient!!! There were 3 men and one woman movers. She spoke no English and the men spoke no Spanish. It took 5 hours and they only moved furniture and one refrigerator from a 2 bedroom house. I had already moved all the boxes, lamps, pictures, garage contents and any miscellaneous. I moved across the street. I called customer service with no satisfaction. I will never use All My Sons again and neither will any of my friends, relatives or realtor.
