My move was set for the day my lease was up. Tray assured me that there would be no problem. The appointment was set for a little after noon. Tray called called at 12:15 to say that the movers had to take a break b/c of rain, and asked whether I had flexibility for the afternoon. I told him he could come as late as he needed. He called at 4 to say they could not move me after all b/c he had no movers. He suggested I talked to my leasing office. I wish I had read Yelp before we moved from Johns Island to Sumter. My husband and I have moved a dozen times over our marriage and moved ourselves half the time. We were feeling like we couldnt handle moving ourselves this time as we are getting older so hired All my Sons for a move two hours away. Very disappointed in this company. The pricing was not explained to us properly & we ended up getting charged A LOT more than we thought. They overcharged us on our time as well as said they used 5 mattress covers when they only used 2. Three movers showed up who smelled very strongly of marijuana. They scuffed our walls, which we figured could/would happen with moving, but the way they handled our furniture was inappropriate. I didn't hire them. They say they are budget friendly but they are not. They wanted 2500 dollars to drive my things, small one bedroom, 250 miles/one way from point A in S Carolina to point B in N Carolina. He also kept calling to talk on the phone to make sure I would pay high prices instead of coming in for a home estimate that was scheduled. He didn't want to be bothered.

I wish I could give half a star and that would be generous. They no-showed me and I was finally able to reach them 2 hours after they were supposed to show up.

The absolute worst experience with All My Sons Moving. If I could give a zero rating certainly would have. I had a very small amount to be moved because I left most of my furniture, dishes, pots and pans with my son. I also moved my own clothes but it still took the movers six hours. They managed to scratch and severely dent my refrigerator, washer and dryer. My antique sewing machine cabinet was broken, my bed was dinged and two walls were damaged. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. I hired All My Sons to move from James Island to West Ashley and the crew could not have been less motivated to do a good or efficient job. They took forever because only two of the four guys was doing anything at all. They damaged my items and didn't wear masks by the time they got to our new house, they just gave up on even pretending. SIX HOURS LATE, UNPREPARED, HIDDEN FEES! Movers were SLOW, didn't have enough boxes, left tape, wrapping, papers all over the floor. Had to come back a second day and LEFT WITHOUT FINISHING! Left me High & Dry! VERY VERY EXPENSIVE for the quality of work! Highly Unprofessional! Will File BBB also!!

I had a not so good experience. I wasn't going to write a review but today I saw them moving someone else into my building and they were not wearing masks. When I said we prefer they wear masks (there is a mandate in the area), they did not put them on. When they moved my things a few months ago, the movers did not wear masks until I insisted.
