PLEASE look elsewhere for moving services! We hired them for an across state move from Jacksonville, FL just 2 weeks ago. When we received the initial quote they couldn't have seemed more professional and trustworthy. The day of the move absolutely nothing was done that we were promised when hiring them. None of our door frames were protected, nothing was laid down on the floors (ended up damaging floor) these were all things I was shown photos of during the quote of how things are done with them. I waited two weeks for this..... don’t work for them.
I used All My Sons Moving about 3 weeks ago. The customer service preparing the move was great of course trying to schedule, but the actual movers and people I talked to while the move was going on was a whole different story. Since I had recently moved, my stuff was still boxed and the furniture was still wrapped. The driver took numerous smoke breaks on the truck with my belongings when I am not a smoker. 2 weeks ahead to schedule a move on December 15th in the afternoon. I was quoted at around 320-345 which I made a down payment for of 100$ I then get a call today telling me that AMS doesnt move on Sunday afternoons. Cool whatever, I could have moved the date somehow despite this totally messing up our plans. Nah it doesn't end there. The guy I talk to tells me the quote wasn't right and its supposed to be like 490. That's like double. HORRIBLE moving company. They completely lied to my parents about how much their move would be and how long it would take. They were charged $1042 for 6 hours of work which was moving furniture from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apt TWO COMPLEXES down. Half of the furniture is now scratched or glass shattered. The claims department is willing to refund $130 from all the damage that was done. The movers did not apologize once for broken clock, scratched bedroom furniture, broken leg on a hutch. RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ALL MY SONS. WORST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED. SCHEDULED 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE AND THEY CANCELLED ON THE DAY OF MY MOVE LEAVING ME HOLDING THE BAG. If you would like one piece of constructive advice, I would say to show up when you commit to instead of calling me 30 minutes before you're supposed to and telling me you can't do the move. Stop blindsiding people with arbitrary, non-quoted charges.
I bought a perfectly good house however after All My Sons I cant say that. They were moving out the seller and one of their employees fell through MY garage ceiling. It’s has been a pure nightmare ever since. We called them and they said we need to submit a claim through their insurance. Well, we’ve been doing all the legwork and I still have a hole in my ceiling. I highly DO NOT recommend either All My Sons Or Liberty Mutual Insurance. Neither company care at all about anyone
