I was so disappointed in this company. I had a person in my home telling me all of these great things that will be done when I move but it was a joke. Stuff was left behind because it seems they had a certain amount of time and when it ran out then they left. When we got to the other end half my stuff was not assembled back, the box springs on my new bed was put on upside down and tore when it was sat on. Dressers placed in the room backwards. The boys kept going outside to smoke and they charged me for entire time. They ripped us off for the move. I will not use them ever again. Made me much wiser on moving companies.
One of the worst moves I ever had, and I've had my share due to my military service. Charging double for tape and other supplies doesn't endear me to them. Constantly dropping stuff and taking their sweet time due to the "billing by the hour" model. Except for the driver/leader, the other two "workers" were newbies who didn't even know how to wrap a couch or a mattress. Just terrible all the way around.
NEVER AGAIN!!!! We moved from 1 bedroom in my in-laws house, plus one 10×10 storage unit to a new apartment about 25 minutes away. We were quoted $600 - 800, at $144 an hour. I was ok with that price. I was told that we were scheduled between 8-9am and I would get a call 30 minutes prior from the driver. Morning of the move, I never got a call, I called the office at 9am and was told "oh I'm glad you called, the truck broke down but don't worry we will get you moved today." They are not upfront about their pricing. They will call you the night before and tell you about an 18% fuel charge and an additional time charge. I used 3 men for 2.75 hours and they charged $637.20.
We were moving a 2 bedroom apartment, plus one 10×15 storage unit to a new house about 25 minutes away. We were quoted $800-1000, at $154 an hour. I figured it would be around that or a tad more, because the last time we moved around the same amount of stuff it took a different company 7 hours, and they charged us $800. All My Sons sent us 3 guys, one of which did the absolute BARE MINIMUM the entire time he was there, and had a horrible attitude. It took them 6 HOURS just to load up the apartment. Mistakes happen and I understand that, but a company should be professional when they make mistakes. They broke a 75" tv, and snapped the leg off my bedroom dresser, and are offering $180. I've never left a bad review but this is for protection of future customers that will hopefully keep looking past all my sons. They ignored me the whole time through the claims process and overcharged me. Also upon arrival the crew told me 2 out of 3 guys were brand new. Don't use. Overpriced and over-promised. Bait and switch. I booked this company a month in advance to help load a uhaul in Orlando and unload in Jacksonville on 2 separate days. They were 4 hours late the first day and shorted me on manpower...charged me $129 an hour for 2 men plus fuel surcharge, travel time, etc. Second day (different branch) they shorted me on manpower as well. Don't use this company. It cost us over $2500 to move a third of our furniture 2.3 miles (we packed and moved ALL our own boxes and moved the majority of our furniture to storage, ourselves) and that's not even the worst part of this experience. Btw, $500 of that expense was due to overnight storage because, and I quote, they couldn't move our furniture to our new home the next day at 3:00 in the afternoon, because they "weren't permitted to work in the dark."
