I'll keep it short. The moving crew was very personable and professional. That's the only positive thing I can say. Over $1,000 for 6 to 7 hours of work. A leaded glass pane in the door of a cabinet was broken and immediately reported to management. The company's management told us to report it to their claims department (instead of offering the basic customer service of doing it themselves). It's hard to write a review on these movers since they cancelled on me at the last minute WITHOUT A PHONE CALL. I set up my time earlier in the week, paid my deposit, did as much packing as possible, and then waited. A half hour after their scheduled time I called the company wondering where they were and was told their crew had called in and they were looking for replacements. This was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! My 74 year old mother used them for a major move from FL to Ohio. Contract and deposit given on April 28th for PACKING on May 22nd. The night before they called to confirm they would be there on MAY 27th!! and had no idea they were packing her.! They scrambled and got a crew there about noon on the 22nd. Had a horrible moving experience... was told door jams would be padded & floors protected & wall art & mirrors would be packed and protected. Nope, nope & nope... glass mirrors were packed with metal without wrapping. Salt lamps packed on top of COMPUTER monitors with Nothing in between!! Broken furniture... kitchen items that I paid a ridiculous amount for them to pack so they wouldn't get broken. Stuff was thrown or dumped in boxes. Never use them...they stole our stuff and broke our furniture. The actual charges are much higher than what they say but later on the bill got doubled. The claim money is low and not worth it because then you can't leave them a bad review. I refused their claim money and preferred to leave this review. Don't ever hire these thugs!!

This company was terribly expensive and broke a lot of my stuff. The movers they sent were very inexperienced at what they were doing. They also took so long, that they stopped billing me after the 5th hour. It was only three rooms of furniture and boxes - was only supposed to take 3 hours, and it took them nearly 7. The movers had no experience packing a storage unit, and packed it in the most efficient way possible, only stacking to the ceiling towards the front. I called to inquire about a move, provided details, etc. and was given an estimated quote. From then on, I received multiple calls daily asking if I had made a decision. The caller, "Charlie", was overly friendly and persistent. I finally called him and asked him to stop calling and that I would contact the company when I was ready to commit. My bedroom set, which includes four poles and a media chest, was severely damaged. I have been able to identify over 30 areas where the paint and wood have been damaged. So areas are repairable, however, the areas where chucks of the wood are gone that are not repairable. This is directly related to the negligence of the movers that were compensated to move my items from one location to the next. Do not recommend. Had an appointment with an 8-9am start time. 9am no call no show. I call and they tell me their truck broke down. 1st of all thanks for the call. Tell me it will be 11:30-12 before they can get a truck out. Not acceptable. For my trouble they offered a whopping 5% discount, $27. I tell the office guy Joe that thats not acceptable and this totally screwed up my appointments and plans that day, he had an i dont give a crap attitude and asked if i wanted to cancel.
