American Home Shield is a great Home Warranty provider if not the best in the business. Their customer service and response is top notch and the ease of use with the client portal is not difficult. The only thing that I had to stay on top of was the contractor and making sure they sched the appt and provided the proper documentation to AMERICAN HOME SHIELD. Once they had all the documentation the claim was processed and approved within 2 business days.

Even though I balk at paying my monthly fee when I need something done there's never questions asked and they have it fixed!

Initial call in after filing claim/s, frustrating at times as the call seems to go OFF Shore and hard to understand. Once my latest claim was dispatched, as URGENT, after a few more calls, I got a good plumber. He diagnosed septic issues. My policy covered such an issue. I was advised my check for nearly all the 1400.00 bill was en route via mail. Once it is approved for repair, you have to jump some hoops to get the contractor to get you all INFO that is required; License, etc. I'm happy to have had this warranty for my iss... read more
