I like having a home warranty. Both of my AC units went down. The air temps have been in the hundreds for weeks so being without AC was tough. The 1st Unit was still within it's 30 day call back to make sure everything is repaired. The 1st time the tech came our unit miraculously started working so per contract with AHS & with no proof it was not working the tech left. The unit quit working within 12 hours and I recorded via video what was happening. The 2nd time the service company came out it was a different group of guys ... read more

Easy process that led to a reasonable settlement for appliance replacement, and excellent contracting of an installer for quick resolution of the situation. I’ve had previous experience with AHS years ago when I lived I; Houston, TX. They are beyond the best!

On separate occasions both my dishwasher and ice maker went out. I paid my deductible each time and that was it! The repairs were covered completely by American Home Sheild..

The company is good for small every day problem's, one problem is you may have coverage for an item but know one in your area to do the job. I had this happen to me and never got my deductible back.
