To say the least I’m extremely disappointed with my American Sales experience. Back in March both myself and my parents purchased above ground pools with installation services. The salesman who took both of our orders advised both of us that our pools would be delivered at the beginning of June, that we would be notified a week prior to delivery, and would be installed 2-3 weeks after delivered. Ordered a hot tub last August. Was supposed to be delivered by Dec. 17. A week before, I called wondering when the delivery was going to be scheduled and was then told it wouldn’t come until February. Then March, then May 5th, 3rd week in May, then last week in May. Called twice last week, left messages, no response. Stopped in on Sunday and was told June 15. Each time they told us it was due to Covid/manufacturing issues. We bought a pool heater from American Sale a month ago and am having issues with leaking. The man I spoke with didn’t seem to know anything about pools and couldn’t offer any help. Also, there are virtually no parts in stock to service a pool. Great Escape was much better. I feel no need to ever shop at American Sale again. You should really have people who know what they are selling.

We ordered and purchased in May. We were told installation date would be Mid-July, but sooner if we order and pay asap, so we did. Now being told it is pushed back til mid to late September. That is unacceptable and ridiculous.
We bought a pool (Carvin Woodstock) ended up installing ourselves as everything is booked. We followed the instructions and it states to fill the water to 2 inches below the skimmer basket then install. We go to install our skimmer basket and realised something is horrible wrong. Went up to the store to talk to a sales rep. Turns out they are using skimmers designed for a Vogue pool. Not a Carvin and they have modified the Carvin to fit this skimmer. Purchased Christmas tree last week at the Lake Zurich store. Orland Park store was supposed to ship to Lake Zurich by today and call to notify it has arrived. Never received a call. After calling them found out it was not sent on delivery truck. Lake Zurich store blamed Orland Park store and no one knows what happened. Orland Park has six of the purchased tree. Asked what discount they can provide for driving over an hour one way. Only 10%. Not satisfactory customer service. No tree for the holiday. Requested full refund.
