On 8/8/2022 I called to ask for service because my Island spa wasn't getting hot . I was told that someone would call me to schedule . Here it is I have called back 6 times the last person gave me a order number to schedule and told me someone would be in touch today is August 24 and still no call to schedule the repair. No one answers the phone in service so Caveat emptor. I'm going to try one more time today to get it scheduled if no I will go to a second or third party company to have it repaired. I bought my pool last summer in August, paid for installation and everything. Was told that someone would reach out to me to set up and appointment. It's now May and no one has reached out. I've called the store location and have spoken to the sales manager, Jim multiple times to see why I haven't been contacted. Both times I've been told he would find out what's going on and reach out to me. Also haven't heard back from him. I would not recommend buying your pool here. Do not buy an inground pool from this company! Salesman Chris B. has been a nightmare to deal with. First Chris screwed up my estimate by not including the labor for the pool Crete. My installer quoted me $4,000 more than what American Sale estimated. Had to have 3 separate deliveries because they kept forgetting items. The vacuum hose was the wrong size. The mesh pool cover was the wrong size. I've been waiting since the last week in august for my pool cover which had to be sent back to the manufacturer. Chris first claimed... read more

We bought a pool last September. Went in early this season as the shut off valve was not working treated Like we were crap. The frogger system is the worst To get customer service is horribly and they could care less about their customers. So sad when this company was smaller they cared

We purchased a top of the line hot tub and waited approximately 4 months for delivery and installation due to COVID. We were OK with that, but the hot tub is under 1 year old and main pump is already broke. We just received an email, and we have to wait up to 8 weeks for a new pump for a spa that isn't even a year old. American Sales does not care and states oh well that's COVID, and not our problem.

This is an estimated time frame and could possibly show up before that, but since Hot Spring has to send this to us, it is unfortunately out of our control until it gets here. This has been one of the worst homeowner experiences. I bought a pool in early November and was told it would be installed late May-early June (it is on our paperwork). We had to pay prior to receiving the pool. After paying, the pool was delivered in March and has been sitting in our garage. We get a text saying our install is July 9. Don't buy a pool from this company. We are living in a nightmare dealing with them. First we put a deposit down in November of 2020. They called us in February telling us we needed to come in and pay-off the balance because our pool was coming in earlier then expected and we were to get our pool in April. We were so excited, because we weren't expecting the pool until June. Then they emailed us telling us that our pool was on back order and we weren't getting it until May. Was super excited to get a pool. But no one explained during the sale that they didn't have everything. Honesty is the best policy. Not here. Made the sale is all they cared about. I understand things are behind but tell us. I needed a replacement pool so I would've still bought it. Beware the skimmer is different on their pools, not typical.

Our vendors provide estimated dates for when they can get the essential pieces to us, but these were pushed back by them. This store NEVER answers there phone. I been calling for days. I bought an expensive pool now that they got their money they don't care about nothing else. I found my own installers and need a refund on the installation fee I paid to them. Looks like I'll be taking a visit to the store to talk to Chris the salesman in person! Why give a business card if you don't return calls or messages ! Very sad that this well known company has poor customer service and the money I spent like wow !
