Purchased a pool from the Orland Park location in June of 2020 I was told at the time the installation would not be until this spring 2021 I was ok with that considering covid. My problem started when I payed for my pool fully in March of 2021 as per their request stating I would have installation in early May. This place is HORRIBLE. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED. They are sales people that do not help you beyond the sale. I bought a HotSprings salt water hot tub. It didn't work at first because the delivery guys put the salt part upside down. So that was over a week wait before they came out. They said it was an electrical wiring issue. Don't buy from American sales they don't service their hot tubs that they sell. Buyer beware I will never shop at American sales ever again.

Bought a Pump and filter for my pool about 4-5 yrs ago and when I went to replace a couple of items including the cartridge filter I was told they don't carry that cartridge anymore. If you sell a product, shouldn't they carry a cartridge filter for that pump? And the last time I went there to get a piece for the filter they also didn't carry it. I purchased a swing set 6/6/2020 at the Orland Park store. I was informed by the lady that waited on me that because of the pandemic, I wouldn't be able to get a delivery/install until July. I received a call from customer service shortly thereafter confirming a date-today, July 8, 2020. I was also told that I would receive a call the day before with a timeframe. I was mislead by salesman on 5/26/20, I was told they had the pool filter/pump in stock and I can easily order it online, well I ordered it on 5/27/20 and still haven't received it nor can anyone tell me when it will arrive, I wasted a month, I just purchased one from Great escape and it was in stock immediately. Customer service over the last month at American Sales didn't exist and nobody cares about the lack of arrives I received. I now support and will shop at the Great Escape in T.P.

HORRIBLE. We have a pool sitting in our garage. We were LIED to about installation date by Don Klec (sales rep). We have had nobody return phone calls. We have an installation company that may, or may NOT be licensed to work in our town. I HAD to give it 1 star, 0 stars in my mind.
When you need service on your hot tub they won't support you. They are THE authorized dealer for Artesian Spa. They'll sell you a $15,000 tub but won't do a $500 valve replacement. The owner of American Sale has decided supporting his customers isn't a priority.
I wouldn't suggest buying a hot tub from them! Very expensive and they sold us a lemon. On going problems since day one!!
