DO NOT BUY A HOT TUB FROM THEM. Mine has been broke over 6 months. no one will call you back in customer service. They do nothing to help you replace the parts. Service is horrible and some thing that is over $10,000 barely worked a year and has been broken for over six months.

Do not use them! Delivery folks are terrible. Customer service doesn't care, and they don't have technicians available when needed. Their “white glove” delivery of my $11k hot tub included 4 guys dropping it off the trailer, at least 4ft high and looking around to see if anyone saw, continuing to set it up and didn’t even check to see if anything happened. They were just in a rush to get it done and get out of there! I go to wipe it down and I find broken pieces!? C’mon! Then I gotta war dial your customer service # over... read more

Over a year ago, in February/March 2021 I believe! We ordered/purchased a hot tub and paid cash. Almost 5k!!! The delivery was delayed because of the cargo ships being stuck in the canal.. we finally received our hottub in late April. But it didn't come with stairs or a lidlift!! Both, we were told, were on back order… for over a year!!! I expressed that we would need stairs sooner than that, as my husband is disabled and needs them to get into the hotttub more easily. American Sale in Orland Park is absolutely the worst place to purchase a spa. The general manager Tom E and most of the technicians have no idea how to properly fix an on going issue with my spa heater. My circuit breaker continually trips and has been replaced once and the the technician tells his boss it was initially installed wrong but he replaced it anyway because he was already in the process. Do not buy an inground pool from this company! Salesman Chris B. has been a nightmare to deal with. First Chris screwed up my estimate by not including the labor for the pool Crete. My installer quoted me $4,000 more than what American Sale estimated. Had to have 3 separate deliveries because they kept forgetting items. The vacuum hose was the wrong size. The mesh pool cover was the wrong size. I've been waiting since the last week in august for my pool cover which had to be sent back to the manufacturer. Chris first claimed... read more

Walk. I mean RUN as far away from this place as you possibly can. Absolutely horrible customer service. Chris Boswell lies just to make a sale then turns his back after spending tens of thousands. When you have issues you’re directed to Sherry Klepetka who is in their customer relations dept. Sherry is literally a ghost, doesn’t answer calls, emails, etc…. Then when you finally get ahold of anyone with some type of authorization they have a “what do you want me to do about it” attitude. We have had nothing but problem... read more

Awful experience. My sales person confirmed everything was in stock. On shipping day we learned that many items were on back order. I can’t believe the lack of transparency.

This place is a ripoff! I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service. First off bought a swing set back in May was told it would be delivered May 14th to which it was not. Called got hung up on several times. Stopped in and was told oh wait it will be delivered May 22 guess what no swing set. Tried calling again hung up on again! I went into the store again to purchase a pool. Salesman told me it would be installed second week of July cool and that my swing set would be here the following week. I am extremely dissatisfied in the customer service that was provided since purchasing an over 5 thousand dollar pool. The pool did not come with an installation manual. I called several times. I was promised phone calls back and never received them. I was emailed an upside down manual for a different pool model. We spoke with our Store Management and they provided you with the instructions to the Regency, an almost identical model, just with thinner framing.
