I am so disappointed with American Sale customer. After buying a hot tub there, our family waited 8 weeks for delivery which is fine. When delivered, the moving team caused damage to our fence when moving into our backyard. Second, when we started using the hot tub, the computer display did not have all the upgrades it needed to run effectively. We had to call the store. I was at the Orland park store attempting to resolve my own poor service experience, when I hear a salesman telling a customer that they are trying to raise their yelp score. He says please go online and enter a five star review, he tells her, they are putting a lot of pressure on us to raise our score. Here is an idea. Wish I had read reviews before I spent over 30k on a pool here. From day one of sales there were many things promised that were not true. Now 8 weeks after paying for a pool that was supposed to arrive in two weeks, we finally had the saleswoman admit the pool is not supposed to arrive for yet another week. Look elsewhere if you want to experience good communication, honest responses and target dates hit.
We ordered our pool at the end of March. It was suppose to be in by mid April. Still no pool and no pool in sight. We decided to purchase due to the fact it would be put in within a few weeks of purchase. Still no pool and we have no idea how long it will take. We currently have a pool but this was a replacement. We also want to replace our deck around the pool but all is on stand still because AS sold us a pool that is still in Canada and 2 months have past. Very annoyed.
Bought a fiber optics tree on December 23 which lit up for literally one second. Brought the tree back for a refund December 27th and manager says signs are posted all over the store about no returns after December 15 on holiday items. You can only get store credit. How does American Sales store get away with a policy like that? How UN-America and UN-ethical. I knew something was up when the sales lady on the second floor chase me down a half a store away to get my name and address in their computer system! What a joke... read more
I called them several times to fix my tub. I waited a month for an appt, and then they didn't show. I tried to contact them several times for follow up. Never a return call... totally unprofessional.
Funny how this "calcium" build up occurs for the first time in all the years i have owned the tub. Plus the oct Bill was for putting a new heater in ( which wasn't needed). So how does the tub have this massive build up when the part was new?the tub never worked since and A S shut it down to return on a warmer day. Understandable. Warmer day was not till July! We see in our notes that you have only been charged once in October and all the rest of our service calls have been free of charge. My pool was installed a year ago and has been nothing short of a complete and utter nightmare. This is everything that happened to me last year as of August 25, 2017, that I expressed to John V and all he could do was send me a follow up e-mail about a water truck I owed him money for. This is laughable and why I will never, EVER do business with American Fail ever again. I have had my pool open for 83 days (as of 8/25/17). We purchased a hot tub several years ago and needed service because of a leak. We called in october and the said it was best we fix in the spring. We called and called. They have missed scheduled appointments and when the finally came out after 4 months and replaced a part they never called to let us know they came and again rhe hot tub was leaking. We called the store manager....service and corporate. No returned calls. We will never purchase anything again from them. There service department is terrible. Be ware!!... read more
