Such a great visit and experience! I am new to town and wanted to establish care locally. The staff were AMAZING from start to finish. The prices were extremely reasonable as well. I feel very blessed to have found ACH for my canine child

This place was amazing ! They took such good care of our dog - they are friendly, helpful and caring. Our dog, a Shih Tzu mix, was happy and comfortable there. Would definitely recommend this veterinarian!!

Took my dog for dental cleaning at ACH last week. The intake process and predental consult went well. Hazel was very personable, thorough, and professional in answering all my questions. She put me at ease about giving anesthesia to my senior dog. They called after the procedure was over to let me know how things went and when I could pick him up. They ended up having to extract 4 teeth. The only reason for the 4 star rating is because I think they should have provided pain meds for the first night when the anesthesia wore ... read more

Dr. Garg specifically did not provide medications to go home due to your dog's age and concerns of liver values. There was however a pain injection that should've lasted 24 hours post-op. I could not imagine how things would have turned out if my friend didn't recommend me this place! I came home from work and saw that my dogs face was swollen. The normal vet that I go too was unavailable and I was crying trying to figure out what I could do. I don't want to bring my dog to a place where I don't trust the doctors. I worked with Dr Nakamura who was very kind in understanding that this was my first time bringing my chihuahua for dental work in a long time. She charged me a $29 exam fee and one of the nurses gave me a quote for dental treatment, bloodwork, etc which they honored the next time I visited and Although there were a few discrepancies from the 1st time I visited, the doctor was very considerate in helping me and owning the miscommunication which I feel is the best thing a business can do and is rarely seen nowadays. Dr. Nakamura is wonderful. We didn't think our cat Remus, who was attacked by a raccoon, was going to make it but he's doing great. Can't recommend ACH enough everyone is friendly and very helpful.

What a wonderful place to go to!! From the very beginning when I pulled into the parking lot I appreciated all the signs pointing me in the right direction. All of the staff, from the front desk to the techs to the Dr were so incredibly nice and so kind to my senior dog;) The facility itself is kept very cleaned, no hair from previous animals the rooms, which is so nice. The prices are very fair. This is going to be our new vet office! Thank you so much!!

ACH is the best clinic I've ever visited! I'm really glad that my dog and I found this place. Very professional doctor and super kind and friendly stuffs there:) I'm going back to Japan next week and needed the health certificate from USDA accredited veterinarian but I couldn't book any clinics in Berkeley this morning. Some clinics said they are not available until November or can't take any new clients. I literally called all the clinics in Berkeley and almost cried.
